Have you ever seen the Green Flash? Unless you're a sailor you probably don't know what it is or where it is. Just interested. Have you ever seen the Green Flash? I've seen it a number of times.

Saw one during a Santa Ana period in San Diego. They do actually happen.

Saw one at sunset on the pier at Key West.

Chances are good to get green flashed at that location - the sunset phenomenon, not the local yokels.

caused by the same atmospheric refraction and scattering effects which produce the red sunset.
