Great thread Ringo, i will watch some of those films over the weekend, today i started planning my final trip to Normandy next June for the commemorations of the D-Day landings and the Battle of Normandy, was there last year but won't be many vets alive much longer.

...my dad got LUCKY!!!! and was hit right above the knee .....he didn't have to hump all the way back to the coast .....he flew out of Koto Ri to Japan
he recovered and went back to Korea
