Her last album was released in September of 2022. It was most likely labeled a pop release and so hopefully her next album whenever it is released will be a country album.

P.S. To me, her album named Whatever We Wanna is the best of her non-country music, and it was released in 2006.

She was far too talented to do pop. Just like Whitney Houston. I understand they have to "pay the bills," but they got ridiculous.

^^^ I don't know if it's always about paying the bills. LeAnn was most likely just trying to show the world that she was about more than just country music. In 2020 she released an album named Chant: The Human And The Holy. It was classified as chant music, I guess.
