Great bible prophecy rapture teaching

What is the Rapture? It is the literal, visible bodily coming of Jesus Christ to call out of this world, literally and bodily, every born-again believer-first the dead, then the living. First we see that Jesus is coming bodily. Remember the cultists of bygone days who said that the Lord was about to return? Clothed in white sheets, they sat on the mountainsides in anxious anticipation-but Christ didn't come. Date-setting is wrong! But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only (Matthew 24:36).

Some Christians say they do not believe in the term rapture. They argue that one cannot find the word rapture in the Bible. Interestingly, one cannot find the term Bible in the Bible either, but I'm holding one! Listen carefully: The word rapture, in English, comes from the Latin, rapiemur which means "a snatching away." We have just learned from God's Word that all Christians, living and dead; are going to be snatched away in the twinkling of an eye, so whether one knows it or not, one believes in the Rapture.

The Bible also clearly teaches that there is a difference between the Rapture and the Revelation of Christ. We need to fully understand this truth because it is the basis for understanding the Book of Revelation, prophetical truth, and the placement of signs. Simply stated, there are two aspects, or stages, in the process of Christ's second coming, and both begin with the letter "r." We have already designated the first phase as the Rapture. The second phase is called the Revelation. Chapter 4 describes phase one, while phase two is described in chapter 19. The intervening chapters - 6 through 18 - basically cover a seven-year period called the Tribulation. The Rapture (chapter 4) precedes the Tribulation, and the Revelation (chapter 19) follows the seven-year period of judgment. Chapter 4 is a meeting in the air, whereas chapter 19 is a return to the earth. Chapter 4 removes the believer from the judgments described in chapters 6 through 18, and chapter 19 restores the believer to his earthly sojourn as he returns with Christ to planet earth. The Come up hither of Revelation 4:1 is synonymous with the call of 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The Holy Spirit's witness tells Christians that Jesus is coming soon for His Church

The Holy Spirit operating in true believers has made it known to many that Jesus is coming soon. There never before in history has been huge numbers of Holy Spirit inspired teachings, songs, books, and movies informing us about the soon return of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is not leading all these dedicated teachers, writers, readers and believers astray. God's purpose for this message is to get out the good news to all those with ears to hear that Jesus is about to return for His Church.

Certainly there are major segments in Christianity (even in the evangelical churches) that have been downplaying the soon return of Jesus. We see this trend in the post modern "seeker friendly" and Emergent Church Movement with their watered down gospel and Laodicean attitude. We also see it among the dominionists who believe the Church must fix everything on earth before Jesus can even return. The mocking coming from "Christians" toward those who teach on the Lord's second coming and those that teach that there is a blessed hope of escape (rapture) from God's judgment was also predicted to occur just prior to the coming of Jesus.

In these last days puffed up windbags have come along within Christendom that downplay the Gospel of salvation and Bible prophecy and instead teach contrary to God's word that Bible prophecy about the Lord's soon return is just a distraction. Fulfillment of Bible prophecy obviously does not fit their agenda of making a socialist utopia on the earth before Jesus even returns. Never mind that the Bible teaches just the opposite. That Jesus will come for those offering the gospel of salvation and patiently watching and waiting for His return. The scriptures clearly say that Jesus will come for the Church suddenly like a thief. Of those left behind on earth no flesh would have survived the troubles on earth if Jesus did not come back to save a remnant of Israel.

The pseudo Christian message of humanistic works, social justice philosophies and/or dominionist agenda has replaced the gospel of salvation but it is nowhere found in the Bible. A social agenda gospel has replaced the revealed prophetic truth written in the scriptures about the last days. We should not be surprised because the New Testament writers told us that this would happen in the last days. The scriptures clearly say that there would be those that would not endure sound doctrine and that people with itching ears would follow after them.

The Christianity many have is nothing more than a religious culture. They downplay that Jesus is coming soon because they spiritualize Bible prophecy so they know nothing about it. They are in love with the things of the world and any coming of Jesus just does not fit within their humanist agenda.

The true Church will know the general time of the coming of Jesus

It is written in scripture that true believers will know the general time of His return. "But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that this day should overtake you as a thief"(1Th 5:4).

Some evangelical Christians who downplay the possibility that the Holy Spirit is behind the awareness in some Christians that Jesus is coming soon, say that they know they are saved by the witness of His Spirit, or that God told them to take this job, or move here, or to go to this church or do this ministry. Why is it then so hard for them to accept that God would also tell His own people that He is about to fulfill the prophecies of His second advent? Especially since He made it clear that He would do just that to those that are faithful watching.

It is also important to note that the majority of Christians who claim a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and who are doing works led by His Spirit are also the ones who loudly proclaim His imminent return. While on the other hand, the majority of those who are Christians by tradition, and who think that the Christian life is fulfilled through Sunday ritual, rote observances, mega church entertainment services, mystical feelings or through the humanistic efforts of man are the same ones who are downplaying His return.

Jesus made it clear in scripture that there would be those that would not be watching and waiting and that they would not know the time of His coming. Jesus said He would come as a thief to these people and then weeping and gnashing of teeth will be heard from those He left behind.

So which group today do you think the Spirit of God is really speaking through? The ones who are aware of Bible prophecy and the world conditions and the increasing rebellion against God by mankind, or the ones who are asleep and/or think that the humanistic efforts of man will bring a paradise on earth before Jesus can even come?

DK.

When Christ returns at the Rapture, He brings those who sleep (the dead) with Him: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him (1 Thessalonians 4:14). Now, how can the Lord bring the dead with Him and still come after the dead in 1 Thessalonians 4:16? Simple. It's because the dead are in two places! The souls and spirits are with the Lord (absent from the body and present with the Lord), but their bodies are in the grave. Hence, Christ brings the dead-the souls and spirits already in His presence-with Him, so they may come to get their bodies. That's why the dead in Christ rise first. But all this pictures' the Rapture.jvi

John Nelson Darby created the "Rapture", not Jesus Christ. Why do Americans that live here in the lap of luxury feel as though they are so persecuted and tormented in their worship of Jesus Christ that they need to be lifted into the air as a great escape into Heaven. If this were to actually happen, why didn't it happen to save those poor Christ loving women, children, and men from being torn apart, killed and eaten by the lions. Can you see that in your imagination? The children being torn away from their mother's arms by a starved lion, mauled, ripped apart, and eaten in front of thousands watching? Nothing like that is going to happen here in America! Yet some feel that they are to be "Raptured" and taken away from all this evil?
If Jesus Christ were to allow a physical event like that to take place, then he would nullify all his teachings about Faith, Faith unseen. Jesus Christ is most certainly not a liar, nor fabricator of God's Holy Word. Even Old Testament states that the Gentiles will live by "Faith Alone."
Every human being on this planet has the God given Promise and opportunity to obtain Salvation. So, if something of a Rapture were to occur, what about the babies born after that? No Salvation?
The book of Thessalonians is where Paul is speaking to the "Elect", the 144,000. He tells them of their "Election." This is the "JEWS" he is speaking to, not gentiles. This is prophecy to them, the "Jews" in I and II Thessalonians. You need to read it, and not rely on someone elses say so. It was the very first letters that the Apostle Paul had written in New Testament as he set out to see the elect.
That Rapture theory is simply vanity, elevating yourselves above all else that is Precious to Jesus Christ. There is no early escape, we are all in it for our entire life.

The day of your rapture will come just like it will come to the rest of us, upon the end of your life, at your demise. Your soul, which is your consciousness, will rise to the Judgment Throne of God, where your knee will bend to his Holiness and Majesty just like everyone else upon their demise. Your spirit will ascend into Heaven if judged worthy. The Apostle Paul was speaking to the "Jews" in Thessalonians, prophecy to who would be the 144,000. He was speaking to the Jews, calling them the Elect, and the Election. He was most certainly NOT speaking to Gentiles.
You and other rapturers should spread the word of Salvation, not the vanity and self obsorbtion of a Rapture.
Have you ever read of John Nelson Darby who invented the rapture theory? He came from England after having been shut out of several Churches, and decided by adding and subtracting numbers in the Bible the day of a "rapture." He turned his field behind his house into a meeting place for those who followed his theory to meet on the day he predicted a rapture. Nothing happened after a 24hr period. He decided he had made a mistake in his calculations and set another date for them all to gather for a rapture. Still, after 24hrs, nothing happened. But because he attracted so many church goers with his rapture theory, the elders of his church kept the idea going. Looks like it still works.
BELIEVERS! OUR PERISHABLE BODY WILL ON RAPTURE DAY BE CHANGED TO IMPERISHABLE, OUR MORTAL BODY WILL BE CHANGED(MADE NEW) AND PUT ON IMMORTALITY!!!==1Cr 15:47 Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from heaven.

1Cr 15:48 Earthly people are like the earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man.

1Cr 15:49 Just as we are now like the earthly man, we will someday be like the heavenly man.

1Cr 15:50 What I am saying, dear brothers and sisters, is that our physical bodies cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit what will last forever.

1Cr 15:51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed!

1Cr 15:52 It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed.

1Cr 15:53 For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.

1Cr 15:54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, [fn] this Scripture will be fulfilled: "Death is swallowed up in victory.

1Cr 15:55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?"

1Cr 15:56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power.

1Cr 15:57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Cr 15:58 So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

I'm really sorry but your way off here. Jesus Christ was the "1st" born into the Resurrection, meaning the very first into Heaven of the "New" Resurrection. All else who died before him 'slept in their graves' until the call of the Resurrection. Jesus rose from his crucifixion after 3 days. During that time the graves of the Saints (from Old Testament) opened and their bones laid upon the ground. Revelation states that they were "Under the Alter" meaning in their graves, having died in their faith in God of Old Testament. After "3 1/2" days, after Jesus had rose, those bones became living Saints again and walked into Jerusalem speaking to many. Then, they rose into Heaven to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. That would include all the Old Testament Prophets, the Hebrews and Jews that fully believed in God and kept his commandments, and so forth. they reigned with the Lord for 1000 years. Jesus Christ states several times: the Jews first.
The rest of us don't get that Holy and Majestic treatment on Earth GISMYS. We life by Faith alone: not having walked with the Old Testament miraculous acts of God, nor the miracles of Jesus Christ, nor with his Apostles. We have the Bible to believe it all in, and as scripture states "The Gentiles will Live By FAITH ALONE."
The second coming of Jesus Christ was once again "For the Jews". God said he would gather his elect from the four corners of the earth, and his dispersed people (those that had been driven out of Jerusalem in 70ad, into the middle east and Europe), for their final captivity. We saw that in the later '40's of the holocaust.
It was one of the 10 commandments, a Sworn Oath from God that the children would suffer the sins of the Fathers in the 3rd and 4th generation. The priests (fathers) of Jerusalem manipulated Jesus death on the cross. they killed their God in the flesh. Jesus was of the '4th' tribe of Judah, and John the Baptists who was murdered also was of the '3rd' tribe of Levi. We saw those children (their lineages) of those evil Priests be annialated in the holocaust. We witnessed God's fury and anger at gross negligent evil.
Now we have the Bible stating all the acts of the Saints, along with those that were evil, and the Promises God made to each.
So, we live our lives out by Faith! And are judged "Individually" at each our own demise.

"The Mark", is the Mark of Cain, the murderer. Jesus was crucified on Calvary. In the Greek, Calvary is called "Golgatha", the place of the Skull. The elite Nazi officers that ran the death camps work the "Skull" ensignia just above the brim of their hats, being "On the Forehead." They also wore the "Skull" ring on their "Hand." The Jews during those times could not "buy or sell" unless they had the Nazi coupon books.
Hitlers private nick-name was Wolf. His first concrete meeting place for him and his high officers was named "The Wolf's Lair." The wolf in sheeps clothing.

Please let go of what man has taught you of the Bible. Begin reading the Bible on your own with the Spirit of God and prayer to lead you through God's Truth. KJV 1611.

1Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. 2For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. 5For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. 6So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. 8But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. 9For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. 11Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5.1-11===========THE RAPTURE OF BELIEVERS IS NOT THE SAME EVENT AS THE SECOND COMMING OF JESUS TO EARTH!!!THE RAPTURE COMES LIKE A THIEF IN THE NIGHT BUT THE SECOND RETURN OF JESUS IS SEE BY ALL THE WORLD AS HE RETURNS TO THE MOUNT OF OLIVES!!!
