Funny thing about "Pride" and some of its recent manifestations:
Black pride,
Gay pride,
American pride,
Gray pride...
They all refer to things that (1) can really **** up you life if you let them, and (2) you can't do anything about.
But really, how can you be "proud" of something that you had nothing to do with?
