Well, this is fine.

tomorrow’s ceremonial opening of a massive new high-security laboratory in Kansas, the first in the United States designed with pens and equipment such as cranes to move big animals tainted with the most hazardous infectious agents, including Nipah virus.

Although many researchers and powerful Kansas politicians have supported the project, some scientists, Manhattan residents, and farm groups have voiced concerns about handling pathogens dangerous to livestock and humans in the nation’s agricultural heartland. If a highly contagious animal disease escaped the lab, “it would just shut down commerce,” says Larry Kendig, a board member of the Kansas Cattlemen’s Association.

How can this actually be happening???

It's happening because DC does what it wants and if anyone raises hell, they run the risk of Schutzstaffel door-kickers in the wee hours. These scum don't even try to hide their Nazi efforts. Unless people join together and begin to pose these bastards a SERIOUS RISK to their own well being, it will only get worse. Power corrupts...

Do some quick research on the safety record of Fort Detrick ,Maryland , reputedly the safest and most secure Level 4 bio lab on the planet.
It stinks .

Thanks, will do.

It's sad that so many eastern Europeans seem to be better informed than our own populace.

Though your more recent experiences with communism almost certainly help...

Biolabs in America are nothing new.

We have 3 that I recall off the top of my head. Massachusetts, Texas and Montana have them. All of them level 4 labs and level 4 is the highest meaning the most dangerous specimens.
