He's the governor of the state. He has the authority and control of law enforcement. Not the federal government. ICE agents being on the streets of any state is what is illegal.In this political arena, good intentions like this are nonexistent.
The governor tells the federal government what they can and can't do in the state. Not the other way around.
The state legislature has the power to pass laws that hold any federal employee in its borders accountable for any actions that violate it's laws.
I see the Constitution isn't your strong suit.
