GOP tax bill: AT&T, Boeing among corporations rewarding employees

AT&T told CNBC the bonuses announced on Wednesday are above and beyond any existing agreements

So that means the bonuses were already planned and agreed to. AT&T's corporate tax rate doesn't change until 2018, so what does that have to do with 2017 bonuses?

Yes he did. The change in the corporate profit tax rate for 2018 has no bearing on the planned bonuses for 2017.

To avoid looking like a complete moron you should go read the link, pay attention to the part that states some employees will receive 2 $1,000 bonuses, one already planned and the 2nd if the tax bill passes. :itsok:

Your Russia is showing.

Your poor ass illegal taco is showing

LOL! I'm supposed to believe "bear" isn't some reference to the national symbol of Russia? LOL!

Yeah....... Russia..............

Obama made 80% tax cuts perment when you tards say tax cuts don't work...

That 80% didn't include any tax cut for the rich. Back in 2012, y'all said if it didn't, the sky would fall. You were wrong.

AT&T is giving $1,000 bonuses to 200,000 employees after tax bill

AT&T was quick to respond to news of U.S. tax reform, announcing it would give some employees bonuses once the law is official.

The telecom giant said in a press release on Wednesday that it would give more than 200,000 U.S. union members a special bonus of $1,000. The company also increased its capital expenditures budget by $1 billion in the U.S.

So they're giving bonuses and not jelly of the month club memberships and INVESTING in the US......holy shit......who knew????
Well everyone who voted for and will sign this and all those like me that supported the bill......

liberals, life isn't that difficult and full of misery and pain like you think. Open your minds!
So the tax cut savings are trickling down? I thought that didn’t work.

Typical of lying liberals you left off part of AT&T's statement, here I'll add it back for you. "One with a new contract, and one when the tax reform bill is signed." Lets see now, what should your post rating be...:eusa_liar::eusa_liar::eusa_liar::eusa_liar::eusa_liar::eusa_liar:

Non-sequitur and red herring; we were talking tax rates not regulations. Your Russia is showing when you do that.

The CEO didn't lie

Yes he did. The change in the corporate profit tax rate for 2018 has no bearing on the planned bonuses for 2017.

The conservatives didn't lie about the tax bill..blue states have to now pay their fair share to the feds

Red states are taker states that, without the welfare provided by blue states, would have to raise taxes. Conservatives quite literally use welfare to pay for trickle down.

The mandate is goneCooperate taxes went down to 21%Where is the lie?

The lie is that it had anything to do with AT&T's planned 2017 bonuses.

And blue legend post reminds me

We are talking Union's here ....

He is giving them a piece of the pie on top of their normal agreement.

So how does that mean the CEO lied, you retard?.

He lied that the bonuses for 2017 had anything to do with the change in the corporate rate that starts for 2018, you child molester.

You just claimed they were planning on these bonuses based on the presumption that these tax cuts would pass

That's not what I claimed at all. Go back and read what I wrote. What I said was that the cut to the 2018 corporate tax rate has nothing to do with bonuses for 2017. Why? BECAUSE TIME IS LINEAR AND 2017 HAPPENS BEFORE 2018.

:banana: I think they gave their employees that last year for a bonus. Nice try anyway. They're all supposed to be getting a $4000.00 raise this year. We'll see if that happens.

You liar ..you were talking regulations ..

No I wasn't. Link or lie.

So you lie and then said you didn't?

Admit you lies or prove the CEO lied, its one of the other. I think we all know which is true.

The CEO lied. Just like the Conservatives lied to you about the tax scam. Just like they lied to you about trickle down economics. Just like they lied to you about deregulation. Just like they lied to you about Iraq having WMDs.

The bonuses AT&T say they're giving because of the tax cut were already planned well in advance of December this year because that's how corporate finance works.

Your lack of experience in the field doesn't mean your point has any credibility.

The 2018 change in corporate tax rate has nothing to do with 2017 bonuses. Why? Because time is linear, and 2017 happens before 2018. Both bonuses paid from 2017 revenues. Tax rate change doesn't start until 2018.

Yep... because the more the employee makes in wages, the more they also pay in income tax back to the government to make up for the taxes that the rich are no longer paying.
