Land of the free?
Did they allow slavery?
Could anyone vote?
Could women vote?
Some questions for you, otto105:
1. Did you know God created man to have free will?
2. Do you know who the first slaves were and what year they became slaves?
3. When and where did voting begin?
4. These are different times. We have advantages in child care women in 1776 did not have, because they were it, and they were expected to raise kids while their men fought off real threats to the country as well as themselves, support the family and extended family if their elders in the family were still alive. Those jobs were far harder back then.
If you believe God plays favorite, that is just creepy
You think other nations don’t believe the same?
That's not what I said. And you did not bother yourself to look up answers to questions that have simple answers to help out your brother Otto.
God led the founders to write a human rights Constitution that considers everyone and doesn't give the rich any more than the poor have., and that is the love of Jesus who reflected God's blessings wholly and completely. They blessed us with lives well-lived, continuity, prayer for prosperity for their progeny, and brotherly love for those they discussed community matters with. Destroying their statues isn't going to change the path, but it will destroy the future due to lessons lost forgotten that guided people to do the right thing for respecting each others' rights, not cancelling people over politics. What has been introduced into this country by lying that all their opponents are fascists is a cover for so little regard for other people, they should be buried in a fascist backyard by overlords. It's going to come back to Democrats with a self-inflicted biting of their own carotid artery. and I beg wise people to stop the rules for thee but not for me game.
1. God gave man free will from the beginning with only one rule. Adam broke with the rule which was not to eat the fruit of the Tree in the Garden of Eden.
2. Read your Bible. OK, I'll narrow it down. It might be in Genesis. There I saved you from poring over a thousand pages of human how-to make life a good place.
3. The first voters were Grecians.
4. We lack the virtue of Brotherly Love in favor of agressive marginalization of others. We need to cease and desist all that and return to the ideal Ben Franklin favored and practiced.
Have a lovely evening all.
