A spokesman for the Senate Judiciary Committee who was involved in Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court has resigned after allegations surfaced that he was dismissed from a previous job following a claim of sexual misconduct, NBC News reported Saturday.

Garrett Ventry had been working as a communications official for the committee and focusing on messaging for the GOP amid Christine Blasey Ford's allegation of sexual assault against Kavanaugh.

"They hired another sexually assaulting predator. To advise Kavanaugh a man accused of sexually assaulting and trying to rape someone. "
Let's go gurls, really pulled back the curtains. Your lives matter and depend on this/these exposures.

Garrett Ventry, a spokesman for the Senate Judiciary Committee to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh, has resigned after sexual harassment allegations emerged. The allegations emerged as part of an NBC report that dropped on the morning of September 22. The allegations stem from Ventry, 29’s, time working in the social media team for North Carolina House Majority Leader John Bell in 2017. Bell confirmed that Ventry worked for him but didn’t disclose the reason for his firing. A source told the network that the firing was as a result of Ventry lying on his resume about being a paid member of Senator Marco Rubio presidential campaign when in reality he was a volunteer. That source also confirmed that there sexual harassment allegations against Ventry. That source said, “[The firing] cause a lot of staff drama. It was the chatter of the staff. The whole thing got turned into he said, she said, and then Garrett was fired.”

Another case of guilty until proven innocent.
That's the way it works.
You don't know much about the law do you.... You Marxist scum think the severity of the charge is enough reason to destroy people... We live in America where we get to face our accusers and the defendant gets the presumption of innocence until the ACCUSER proves the crime was committed.

You might want to take that up with his former GOP employer who fired him.

...in a court of law....get back to us when there are criminal charges.

Thanks for helping prove my point. Why do so many of these cases never go to court? Why go through all that when all a woman has to do is accuse and the accused is crucified?

We are not supposed to be a barbaric society, but leftists are calling Kavanaugh a rapist and what do you think these people would do if they could get their hands on him, hmm? All because of an accusation with little weight to go on.

Employment laws require just a preponderance of evidence to be justified in termination. It does not prove guilt but makes it very more likely..

Now many people are suing for back wages and their jobs back when they are acquitted in the courts.. The #METOO movement is getting a serious backlash they didn't want now.. They to are now subject to being sued for false accusations.

Ah, so now the new rules have been expanded to:

- A man is innocent until Accused
- If Accused a man is guilty until he proves his innocence
- But, if the man knows another man who did something wrong, he is guilty even if he is actually innocent

Are you Proggies ready for these to be applied to you?

Btw: The guy should not resign then. Stay and call the FBI. Have Grassyass call the FBI.
Are the GOP/DOPer cowards too afraid of facts?

You need to read the article.

He was fired from his last job for sexual harassment.

No company is going to fire someone for that unless it's true. They leave themselves open for a lawsuit if it's not true.

He's already been proven guilty.
