GOP projected to flip Democrat House seats

Yes, that doesn't mean the nation wasn't divided. The north hated the south and the south hated the north. Washington was seen as a figure of the war against the British, and sometimes people who hate each other, work together because they hate someone else more.
I dunno....I think we can do better.
A centrist candidate who strikes the right tone IMO would be the best choice. We are crippled by the two party lockout.

Yep. More parties would be better.

For me the best system would be having Congress elected by Proportional Representation with a 2%-5% cut off limit (meaning you need to get that percentage in order to get any seats at all). Then having an executive that is made up of multiple members, like Switzerland where they have 7, and they're chosen by consensus within Congress. And Supreme Court justices are also chosen via consensus.

Instead the US has something akin to a democratic dictatorship where the dictator is a party, not a person and anyone can join in the scam.

Trump will have a mandate and a far better of who will work with him.and who is a snake. Just having Musk as an ear to listen to is a big deal. The guys brain is alwas calculating and figuring out things. Trumo genuinely respects his opinion and that's not a bad thing for most issues. On the subject of tariffs though, Trump won't be swayed too much I don't think. I wiol personally reach out to his team if he hits.Canada with tariffs though. I have my personal grievances in Ontario no question, I do believe our trade agreement, which opens up again in 2026; should.be the priority. Trump said he prefers bil-lateral or tri-lateral agreements and the USMCA (formerly NAFTA) is one such deal, one his team negotiated.

The truth of the matter is that the democrats confused America by switching from Biden who won the democrat nomination; to switching to Kamala who was a loser at running for president in 2020, and a loser at being VP.

That's just way too much confusion.

The Reps have the House.

206-191 at this moment, 218 for majority.

Of the undecided or unreported, Reps lead in Alaska, Arizona, and half of Colorado.

The Dems are so far behind they can't win anymore.

We're on a Republican agenda for the next 2 years at least, probably more if my read is right (which it usually is).

So let's see if we can get the Reps to focus on what's important. If you're a Republican I encourage you to write your representatives to that effect. Keep them away from losing issues like abortion. Keep them focused on the economy, jobs, and the success of the middle class. Winning issues will get them re-elected, control and interference will lose them seats. The working class says: money talks, bullshit walks.

Working class and middle class success is what matters. It's what makes America strong. Investor profits don't make America strong, they don't encourage Joe Average to participate. Bring back the Series E savings bonds so the little guy can participate. Forcing small investors to participate in corporate risk is not a winning strategy. Families want to send their kids to college, they can't afford to lose 50% of their life savings halfway through the process. Working class security is national security. If the Reps can succeed at becoming the party of the working class they've got it made.
