GOP mocked for posting about Trump's paper straw policies amid Epstein fallout

When all else fails, launch a culture war.

Food prices are still going up (they were supposed to go down on day one) so distract with culture war issues.

Like renaming baseball teams.
Getting rid of paper straws.
Switching American Coke, (with corn sugar) to Mexican Coke (with cane sugar)

Plastic straws, especially those containing PFAS, may also have a chemical taste or leach harmful chemicals into drinks.
Yeah maybe were you are but I’ve never tasted chemicals…I just taste my drink

Paper straws taste like paper. Chewing on paper is the sort of thing I’d expect from a dembot

With now having fair trade I don't see a problem with that. :)
We don't have trade deals with the sugar cane producing countries. So they have a 10%-30% tariff letter.
So the new price of coke is going to be higher than the old price.

So much for bringing the price of groceries down.

People would gladly buy Trump a private jet from the Saudis and watch him bilk the US for billions in crypto if it meant no more paper straws. It’s a small price to pay for such an assault on the constitution: “Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” hanging on Trump’s wall, the original Declaration of Independence written right after the civil war. Don’t correct me or Trump.

You're probably also one of those people who can't tell the difference between a CD and a vinyl record.

Just did one with Vietnam....They produce 2% of the sugar cane in the world.

Getting ready to ink a deal with Thailand that produces 41% of the sugar cane in the world.

When I heard that Trump had the declaration of independence moved to the white house oval office, and where he turned the oval office into a gilded palace, I could only weep for the American people.

But then I looked it up

Although the Oval Office doesn't have the original Declaration, President Trump added a copy of the Declaration of Independence behind a navy blue curtain to the Oval Office. This is not the official, signed document but rather a reproduction.

Only Trump could brag about having a copy of something hanging on his wall.

In 2023, Vietnam was a relatively minor supplier of sugar cane to the United States, but it was the largest source of sugar cane by value. Specifically, Vietnam accounted for $268,000 worth of sugar cane imports
