I haven't seen such a cult of personality in a politician since Obama. They have forgotten that the whole idea was to beat the Democrat, and not Cruz. They have also forgotten the rules of political engagement in the primaries I guess. Nobody had to run, and when they did, they knew the rules. If Trump didn't, then he sure can't be President if he over looked such a thing, now can he!

All their whining and crying just turns people off more. If Trump reaches 1237 and they screw him, most of us will be with them; but to say boo-hoo, this isn't fair when Trump signed up for it is laughable. Also, we got Lincoln and Eisenhower out of a contested convention, so what is the problem? Just get off your asses and leave your keyboards, and go knock door to door for Trump! What was done in Colorado was LEGAL. I don't agree with it, but it was within the rules. Maybe Trump should get MORE experts to help him, instead of whine to his supporters. I can't see how Trump would "smash" Hillary, given he is having a hard time with Ted Cruz. You do realize, the way you win is you get everyone who voted for Romney to vote for you, and then you get some of the people who voted for Obama to change their minds. That's how you win.

You don't win by pissing off everyone who voted for Obama and half the people who voted for Romney including Romney himself.

the problem is, unlike those past times when Party bosses picked a candidate, the people were asked what they wanted, and more of them voted for Trump than anyone else.

Now, it is horrifying that Trump has turned the GOP into a White Identity Party and has traded in the usual racist dog whistles for a racist bull horn? Yes. Yes it is. The GOP needs to do some serious soul searching after Hillary Beats them in November. It needs to ask itself what cost playing on the racial, sexual and religious fears of the White Working Class has when someone plays the game a little better.

But at the end of the day, if Trump gets more votes than anyone else, Trump SHOULD be the nominee. Otherwise, what was the point of asking your voters what they thought?
