GOP committing political suicide

The projection on your part has reached the level of the absurd.

The 'marketing' of which you speak in the property of the right.

<snipped for brevity... and 'cause it was stupid>

Look, you can keep wailing about "projection" all you want. I doesn't make it true. When we look at the Arizona law, as a thumbnail sketch of the more pervasive problem, we see DEMOCRATS who haven't even bothered to read the bill, jumping up on their soap boxes and playing the race card. It's all about causing division and cleaning up on the latino vote by painting Republicans as bigots, an accusation NOT SUPPORTED by the language of the law.

Oh... and I find it interesting that you continue to support your position that Democrats "care about people", that we're ostensibly to believe your tender feelings toward your fellow man are the cause for your slavering partisan devotion. But right here on this thread, we see a human being who you've apparently told to "commit suicide" testify to your LACK of human care. Where's your much-touted concern for your fellow man, you giant, intolerant, hypocrite? You so hate and despise divergent opinion that you'd wish DEATH on someone?

And YOU were going to preach to me about "morality". Hmph. :eusa_hand:

p.s. to SW2SILVER... thank you for providing perspective to the discussion.

I would make a effort to be offended, but it would be as hollow as your response. Tell me, are you a professional? Professional WHAT? You like the Constitution? Now, here is a simple question: If and when YOU visit internationally, do you sneak in over the border without filing a Visa and getting a passport? Now, riddle me this, Einstein, Why can't Mexicans do the same fucking thing when they immigrate? IS that TOO much to ask, WHY can't THEY they do they same?

I can't speak for all people that enter this country illegally. As a father who loves his family and would forfeit my own life for their safety and well being, I can only surmise the desperation of a father who would do whatever it takes to feed and protect his family. Especially if they were suffering from hunger, living in unsanitary conditions and squalor. As a father, should I put sovereignty and a government's red tape ahead of the lives of my children? Would Jesus?

Would the prospect of waiting 10 years after first having to navigate the corruption of payoffs to local officials in Mexico to even be considered for immigration ease my desperation?

You need to walk in another mans shoes before you pass judgment...

Is this your attempt to deconstruct political science?

No, Stalin and Lenin were not rightists, they were leftists. Mao was also a leftist. Communist = leftist. Socialist, Marxist, Social-Democrat = Leftist

You entitled to your own opinions, not your own facts.

Ah, the parochial right wing pea brain...everyone in the world is labeled based on YOUR indoctrination. Well, here are some FACTS for you to digest. "While not all conservatives are authoritarians; all highly authoritarian personalities are political conservatives." - Robert Altmeyer

Stalin attended a Georgian Orthodox seminary. Do you honestly believe Stalin wanted to 'conserve' free market capitalism and democratic principles? Is THAT what HE was taught in HIS culture???

Interesting...in the late '80's Mikhail S. Gorbachev tried to liberalize Soviet society and implement a democratic government. Guess WHO opposed him?

Soviet Conservatives Try to Turn Back the Clock on Gorbachev's Policies

MOSCOW, Feb. 26— Russian conservatives, uneasy with the liberalization of Soviet society under Mikhail S. Gorbachev, have seized on the country's experiment in more democratic elections as a chance to fight for a return to more authoritarian ways.

The conservatives are a disparate alliance, including xenophobic fringe groups, like Pamyat, as well as large numbers of less extreme nationalists who yearn for what they see as the simple values of Old Russia and the Orthodox church.

Nikita F. Zherbin, head of the Leningrad chapter of Pamyat, delighted in the fact that Mr. Korotich had been forced off the ballot in Moscow's Sverdlovsk region, and described this as the first successful step in the conservative campaign to use the elections as a vehicle for its political ideas. 'I Am a Stalinist'

Could you be anymore stupid? Most likely I am sure. People like you should be eradicated. ~BH

Thank you for revealing the 'true conservative'

My pleasure. It's really not a Political thing at all though. It's about saving the human race from suicidal people like yourself. Now, In all honesty I don't wish you personally to be eradicated, but if I had my way your kind would without a doubt be prevented from destroying this Country with your mentally deranged views and Actions. ~BH

I don't recall the conversation with Silver or the context. But you will believe whatever you CHOOSE. But I can tell you that I would never tell anyone to end their life in a serious vein.

The fact that you don't care about other people makes it impossible for you to fathom that there ARE people that do. It would cause you to see yourself in a negative light that would not be flattering.

State lawmaker under fire for citing neo-Nazi article in e-mail

Phoenix Business Journal

A controversial Republican state lawmaker is under fire for sending out an e-mail containing an article from a white supremist group.

State Rep. Russell Pearce, R-Mesa, recently sent out an e-mail that contained an article produced by the National Alliance, a neo-Nazi group known for its anti-Semitic views.

Scottsdale Congressman J.D. Hayworth has withdrawn his backing for the controversial Republican state lawmaker, while Pearce's Democratic opponent Tammie Pursley is calling for his resignation.

In recent weeks, Pearce has also called for mass deportations of illegal immigrants, specifically referring to a 1950s era program called 'Operation Wetback.'

Sorry, my Hispanic Mexican mixed race nephew was sort of bothering me to use this PC to get on line, I bet YOU get that all the time, Bfgrn, with all that multiculturalism YOU practice and all that junk, sorry I made a mistake or two. Mea culpa. I bet you get that all the time.

Another pointless deflection. It has nothing to do with the actual language of the Arizona Immigration Law, or the fact that Washington Democrats didn't even bother to read it before they decided to use it a political bludgeon, fomenting racial tension and division as they went.

Come on now, it ain't all that bad. At least not the Arizona Immigration Law part anyway.

Like I said..."useful idiot". People like him refuse to understand that they're setting up a subclass of "citizen". They wring their hands most pitiably, but they tolerate, protect, and encourage a system which allows abuse by virtue of their refusal to enforce the Rule of Law. They CREATE an unprotected slave-class, one that cannot freely attend its best interests.

A few years back, for example, I worked with a Mexican guy who hadn't seen his wife or his children in FIVE YEARS.
It's dangerous to cross the border illegally. People die. And Mexican families are torn asunder by it. Just like American families are torn apart by the criminal element of illegal migration and drug trafficking.

It's all political. People are unarguably injured on BOTH sides of the border. But rather than deal with the REAL fallout of our federal government's failure to deal with immigration, rather than pursue answers that strengthen Mexico's security and economy in such a way as to not strip it of a fifth of its workforce... they just keep on supporting the victimization of both populations.

It's amazing that every one of your posts starts with a false premise, then you build your straw-man from there. There were plenty of lawyers and legal advisers that went over that bill with a fine tooth comb before the White House or any Congressional Democrat commented...

Let's hear from an Arizona county sheriff that has 52 years of experience...

Arizona, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, who has been a cop for 52 years, says the controversial immigration law will definitely lead to racial profiling. He told local TV station KGUN9 that the law is “racist,” “digusting,” and “unnecessary,” and he won’t enforce it. While the law may not explicitly mandate profiling, Dupnik said that there’s no way to enforce it without doing so; the “lawful contact” provision will become nothing but a “flimsy excuse” to target certain people.

Dupnik had harsh words for anyone who thinks SB 1070 will not lead to racial profiling. "If I tell my people to go out and look for A, B, and C, they're going to do it. They'll find some flimsy excuse like a tail light that's not working as a basis for a stop, which is a bunch of baloney."

Removed so I can start my own thread about false allegations against Russell Pearce.

You get pulled over for a busted tail light anyway you dumb shit? It's a fix it ticket. If you're not Illegal, then you need not be concerned. The Law is going to fucking enforced whether you imbeciles like it or not! There will be rule of Law you lawless pukes. ~BH

I agree bro. I feel for those who come here for a better life. Most are hard working people trying to feed their families. We can't shoulder the World though. There are Laws and steps to take to become a U.S Citizen. I blame the Government of Mexico and The Government of The United States of America, both State and Federal. ~BH

That is not the Phoenix Business Journal. That is a blog at PhoenixNewTimes.com a very left liberal web site that is known for constantly attacking republican officials and is about as reliable as the Sunday Comics. That photo of Russell Pearce and J.T. Ready is obviously someplace esle. They are just standing next to each other not even touching for the photo. There are no nazi in the background and J.T. Ready has a different suit on than in the phots with the nazi. Also the banner in the 2nd nazi photo reads Minneapolis, MN. It all appears to be a lie, which Phoenix New Times is notorious for. Just a cheap bogus leftist shot.

Yep, Guys a bottomfeeding, race baiting, Spin artist out to bullshit anyone who will buy it. ~BH

One man's opinion. And of course, opinions are like assholes. Everybody's got one.

For every one opinion you can offer for why we shouldn't enforce our immigration laws, at approval rates for the Arizona law around 70%, I could likely offer you two to the contrary. I won't bother though, because frankly... I'm not willing to invest that kind of time in a guy who has his own opinion pre-chewed and spit into his mouth by the DNC. :

The language of the bill specifically prohibits racial profiling. 'Nuff said.

Surprise, surprise, some of us ACTUALY live with Mexicans. They are not quite as normal as painting of
Norman Rockwell. So, Sue me. I noticed. Most of them DON"T live up to that sanctified liberal ideal, not even close. , I wish you, Bfrgn, get that, because they don't give a shit about the Constitution. They don’t. Mexican illegals don't care about the Human rights, let alone American rights, and THAT is a fucking fact. So, why don’t YOU commit suicide? Hyperbole. I wish you a long, healthy life, bubba.

Important tip:

When in a political race for the survival of your nation against a party bent on destroying those political foundations of which you desire to protect...

take advice from your opponents on how to win.
