Well, that is part of it, Dems were really hoping for a bad ending to those pilots so they could rag on Trump how incompetent he is. But it is more than that:

• The economy is doing surprisingly well.
• Gas prices are still much better than Joe Biden.
• Democrats aren't polling for shit in the polls (probably because all they've done for 11 years is "get Trump," and they haven't even succeeded at that).
• Trump supporters are sticking with him by 97%.
