goodbye, cruel world. i'm retiring from peace activism, but not from living my life and commercializing my businesses.

Because Germany declared war on us, after sinking some 114 ships carrying American goods, then tried to get Mexico to attack us. The Brits screamed for us to come in, France wanted all kinds of stuff, and The Netherlands wanted us to sell them food so they could sell their own produce at a big markup to Germany. Germany declared war on us, in both WW I and WW II.There is al lot more but those are the basic points.
It was the US that formally declared war on Germany in 1917, no? And Germany was sinking American ships because the US supplied Britain and France with vital goods and raw materials, needed to continue this war.

The main reason, in my view, was the February revolution in Russia that virtually ended their participation in the war. You came to save the British guts and their empire.

There's also the suspicion that America only cared about joining up with the winning side. The support of Nazism in America before it became involved could have justified to the American people, choosing the Axis side.

Reason? The richest groups on Earth want a uni-polar set of global laws, all from their own manuals/indoctrination-materials of course. With the rest of the world held firmly down in obedience to the larger countries.
I, for one, don't fall for that trick.
I hope the rest of the world doesn't either.
LARGE COUNTRIES WILL ABUSE THE CITIZENS AND LEADERSHIPS OF SMALLER COUNTRIES, and they will try to hide it well.
but after 23 years of research into the question 'why is war necessary?', i come to the conclusion that unless the totally gross action, horror and sci-fi movies get toned down to adventure "dreams", and leaders all over the world but starting with the militarily most powerful countries accept a reciprical multi-polar world-view, we (homo sapiens sapiens), the descendants of chimps, will keep on killing eachother with bullshit stories as justification, INSTEAD of achieving the next level for humanity, homo sapiens angelica, where wars are brief and decisive, or if we're lucky at all, just wouldn't happen at all.
Not to worry, Christ will straighten things out when he returns. But be advised, there will be a "one-world" government.

Wars are like forest fires. They serve a similar purpose. And if that isn't a good enough answer then understand that life isn't fair. Expect to make sacrifices.

It's not a good time to quit. The possibilities for peace throughout the world may have never been greater.

But I will admit that the quest for that standard may have also raised the risk of nuclear war. The nuclear deterrent has most likely saved the world from a major world war for 80 years, but now America is attempting to take the deterrent off the table with its war against Russia.

Think of the wonderful possibilities if America throws in the towell and the world is left with no active aggressor!

Hilarious you sycophant.

How have made it so long being an idiot? Or did that just happen in 2016 when idiots could emerge from the shadows.

excellent analysis, but i like to think of the minimal-damage justice arrangements since only a few decades ago i think.
and 'wars are like forest fires - they serve a similar purpose', isn't quite correct either.

we shouldn't be so harsh towards Earth and it's inhabitants.
we are supposed to protect, feed, and heal even our enemies (only when they really need to).

only then can we arise from the chimp-with-hitech-weapons (homo sapiens sapiens), to chimp-without-any-real-problems (homo sapiens angelica).

Let's test that... what good do you believe forest fires do?

I started and ran a successful business for 20 years. All you need is to identify a gap in the market (or a niche that is underserved) and have the ability and motivation to bring it to fruition.

I started with $1500, and grew the business into one generating 7 figures in revenues, and employed five people.

should i interpret this literally, or in a figurative manner?
Forest fires, literally. They serve to kill off old growth to allow new growth to occur. Wars, figuratively.

You were never a peace activist. You are an activist for war.

Things are not very prosperous right now. Covid and the Biden Administration have done a lot of damage.

I think that covid was purposefully released into the world for that very purpose, Duke.

But that's just my own personal opinion.
