Seriously? Obama should recruit the assistance from militias to turn the tide in Chicago. Personally, I don't care if they have guns to exterminate each other. It saves face for states than don't have the nerve to root out and exterminate the cancers of our society. We need to recognize these scum for what they are. They are leaches on society for which they blame lack of personal accountability on being a minority. Always looking for someone else to blame for their personal failures

So lets go ahead and revel in such wonderful headlines as these. Just think of how many future alumni of the prison systems were averted.

I'm for social programs that not only pass out needles and condoms but also a box of federal ammunition in 9-40 and 45. The only requirement for free ammunition is to identify the 'need'. That need being ammo required to exterminate other diseases such as the one they possess.

(Reuters) - The Fourth of July holiday weekend brought an explosion of gunfire to Chicago, with more than 50 people shot and nine killed, authorities said on Monday.

The violence was widespread in the nation's third-largest city from Thursday evening through Sunday midnight, police said. There were 50 separate shooting incidents that left 53 wounded and nine dead, police said.

Many more people were shot in the early hours of Monday, bringing the number of wounded to more than 80 and the body count to 14, according to the Chicago Tribune newspaper.

All over the US, multiple shooting deaths:

In Indianapolis, Indiana, two police officers died in separate incidents following a bloody Saturday morning in which seven people were shot, police said.

Indianapolis metropolitan police department officer Perry Renn was shot and killed during a gunfight on Saturday night and a police officer in Gary, Indiana, identified as Jeffrey Westerfield, was found shot dead in his car by a passing motorist on Sunday morning, the Indianapolis Star reported.

The seven victims shot in Broad Ripple, an area of the city known for its nightlife, were between the ages of 23 and 28, according to a police report.

Meanwhile in Texas, four people were shot and several more injured after a man opened fire inside an arena filled with thousands fans attending the Houston Caribbean Festival on Saturday morning, police said.

Police said a fight broke out on the floor and at least one person pulled a gun and began shooting. The shooter hit four people, including a 16-year-old who suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Several people were injured after the crowd panicked and rushed to exit the venue.

Authorities are asking eyewitnesses to come forward with more information.

In New York City, 12 people were shot, three fatally, in an overnight burst of gun violence that took place Saturday night and Sunday morning, the New York Post reported.

In St Louis, Missouri, three people were killed and several more injured in a series of shootings that took place across the city over the holiday weekend, the St Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

The era of the worse violence was during the 1980s and the devastating Blood - Crip war. It didn't end so much as peter out because the number of Bloods and Crips got so low.

The war in Columbia didn't end so much as wither because the young male fighters had largely killed each other off. We aren't even getting illegals from Columbia.

The people of Chicago will kill one another off until there are too few to fight. We should move the illegals to Chicago and Detroit. There's plenty of empty houses there for them and it will be more like it is back home.
