Sun, Sand And Palm Trees
A lot of this crap is going to come to a head and then simply be over in 90 days.

POLLS
Me? I am going to come out and tell you the truth about polls in spite of that pablum puking bullsh#t you are being fed here by so called political experts.
There are two types of poles at this time.

1, Narrow Margin Polls
These are put out by either side to convince you its too close that you must get out and vote to win.

2, Wide Margin Polls
These polls are put out by either side to convince you that you are getting beat so bad that you should give up on the idea of voting.

The Truth
The only poll that matters takes place November 8th. All the rest of them are lies and bullsh#t so just show up for the one that counts.

Political Ads
They are put out by either side to convince you the other is to old to crazy or whatever.

1, Hillary Clinton IS a liar so if you are voting for her accept the FACT all politicians lie she just does it more often then most.

2, Donald Trump IS a Narcissistic so if you are voting for him accept the fact all politicians are Narcissistics he just more so then some.

The Truth
BOTH are what the other sides claims to the most extent. Ain't NO Jesus anywhere in or near politics.

The Media
I would not put a dollar on any media story being anywhere close to true in the next 90 days.

The Truth
Media wins either way in this race, they are soaking up soft money for ads as fast as they can and it will get worse. If the Superbowl allowed both teams to shoot at each other the press would still have box seats to broadcast it.

Posters, Winners And Loser's
A couple of the site shills have already said they will be leaving the day after. One group or the other is going to lose. Could be by a little or it could be by a lot but a win is a win no matter how ugly.

Expect hurt feelings and flames and bans. It's the nature of human emotions thus it will be the nature of the board.

Quit complaining about living in a country with a free press. If the media does not present what you feel to be reality on a consistent basis you might want to reexamine your version of reality.

Assange controls more of the future of this country than Koch or Sorros. One more well timed dump and democrats can have their next convention in a phone booth.

That IS the real world.

There's going to be a heap of lies, half truths, spin, bias, and outright in the tank for Hillary corruption from the MSM over the next 90 days. Grab a bucket its going to make you hurl.

If there is another Wiki dump 2nd to 4th week of September its over.
When you figure that at 100 days out the last one took down 4 of the most powerful members of the DNC. One more devastates them.

I use the points of U.S. political history. Where we have been tells us a lot of where we will be.

The MSM will just deflect and deny, Russian hackers, sun spots, or just not report on it at all. Another issue is many voters are too young to remember the corruption scandal plagued first two Clinton terms in the White House. This election will be decided during the debates. Reagan had to bypass the MSM, Democrats, and thug GOP establishment making his case directly to the American people during the debates. It will be the same for Trump. The establishment is up in arms they want Trump destroyed.

You could not have picked a worse candidate than Donald.

Some of what he says hits home, but his solutions on solving our problems are simply off the wall, nuts! He's like most of his supporters here on USMB, and I'm sorry, no one, right or left, on USMB is qualified and knowledgeable enough, or savvy enough to be President...and Trump is just like them or us....entertaining on a message board or twitter, but NOT qualified and unfit for the presidency.

Well since we have never had an election situation quite like this that might not be as effective as you think. We are in uncharted territory here, expect the unexpected is probably about the wisest thing anyone can say about how things will go in the future. It's fun to make predictions but don't put too much faith in them, back last year I was certain American conservatives were smart enough not to nominate Trump.

Not really. That gives her too much time to spin and Donald too much time to mess up in the debates. He doesn't have it nearly sewn up, but I give Trump a slight advantage. What the polling mess shows is that people are in a pissy mood. Not liking anyone makes them inherently anti-establishment. They will vote for Trump and then punish the GOP for nominating him by either gutting the House or the Senate candidates.

We are not anywhere near un-charted territory. Anti Goldwater forces used TV ads suggested Goldwater would nuke the world.
Anti Reagan ads suggested he was to old. Anti Nixon re-election ads suggested he was to dishonest.

Just look to history, its there.

Now that would be possible, history does have that.

To suggest no member here is fit also would include BOTH running yes? Because like I said there ain't NO Jesus in politics.

Nixon won with a claim he had a secret way to win in Viet Nam. True Story!

The Dems did even worse by picking the Mad Cow.

Negative campaigning is nothing new, what we have here is two candidates who supply each other almost unlimited ammunition for negative attacks in the age of 24 hour news and the internet. Those ads you mention were remarkable for their rarity in what used to to be a comparatively congenial, issue driven election process. Shit like that is so common now that people barely even pay attention to it.

And Carter won because he was the anti-Nixon.
