I see this nation going from ONE extreme to the OTHER and both are bad.

Last night while watching the Bill Maher show and seeing them repeat the recent statistics, such as the Democrats having the lowest approval rating in decades and then seeing the attack on Democracy that is occurring under Trump and Musk, it was clearly evident that we have gone from one extreme to the other. It was mentioned on the show that the Democrats defending the LGBTQ community, transgender men competing in women's sports and allowing such high immigration numbers to occur, was one extreme. Nonetheless, with the indiscriminate and high numbers of people being fired from their jobs, administrations that have been needed and beneficial to Americans for decades being deleted, the undeserved, unending attacks on our judicial system and the total exposure of our sensitive personal data to people that have no rights to have it and no controls on the distribution of that data, we have gone totally to the other extreme.

One was Democracy to the nth degree, and one was dictatorship to the nth degree.

It is now also evident by the town hall meetings of both parties, where Democrats are complaining about their leadership being absent and the Republicans are complaining about abuse of power in their leadership, that the extremes are bringing chaos to our country that can only end badly.

My only hope is that our Judicial system at the top (meaning the Supreme Court) puts a stop to the abuse of power and that the middle ground gets adopted by both parties after that happens. If that does not occur, this will be our future:

Apparently there is a new mantra from the left....they claim nobody likes JD....ummm....just the opposite is true. The son of a single mother in poverty makes it to success? Nobody doesn't like him.

Yep. The parties don't learn. They take every win as a "mandate" and try to shove their agenda down our throat.

Ultimately they fuck up and get replaced by the other party, which just repeats the behavior.

It only becomes worse when, like now, the wings take over the parties and the swings get more ridiculous.

Collaboration & innovation between the parties means that both parties have skin in the game and want it to succeed, instead of one trying to sabotage it. Kind of like our Constitution -- collaboration and innovation. But we refuse to fucking learn.

FAKE NEWS MUCKY TROLL BOTTING AGAIN

Hysterical polemic from Mucky
Unsupported sweeping generalisations .

Topics should not be used as a way of forcing personal distress and depression on to others ,Mucky
imho

CLUE
One person's sickness does not make an epidemic .
Perhaps the need for a visit to a counsellor.

Elon Musk isnt going to do damn a thing with your stupid personal data and everyone knows it. The only thing extreme here is your party's absurd TDS. Fixing fraud is important, and no matter what weak ass excuse you fucking people make, we are still gonna do it. If you want to sink your party even deeper by fighting against cutting waste and fraud, be my guest. :cuckoo:

We had stability along with sound public policy and responsible governance with President Biden – yet another Democratic president who cleaned up yet another Republican mess.

The voters are clearly intent on returning to chaos and reckless, irresponsible governance devoid of sound public policy, the consequence of their fear, ignorance, and stupidity.

Voting for a Republican for president is the definition of insanity.

I stopped reading at "attack on Democracy by Trump and Musk".

There is no attack on democracy except to be found in the lawfare being perpetrated by extreme leftwing groups.

Well I don't like him.

One additional statistic that is telling, as to the extremes being reached:

Then there is the shrinking of both major parties. Independents have risen from 30% of the electorate in 2004 up to 43% today. In 2004 36% of the electorate affiliated themselves or identified with the democratic party, 32% with the republican party, 30% as independents. Today it’s 28% democrats, 28% republican, 43% independents. With the desertion or kicking out of moderates to go along with the shrinking, both major parties are left with ideologues, either left or right ideologues. So, going from one extreme to the other should be expected. Ideologues don’t compromise and they don’t play that old political game of give and take which sustained our political system for so long.

GIVE AND TAKE, broke down when the left stopped talking or engaging with the Right.

This was YOUR choice.

YOu are still just talking shit.

Instead of reasons or supporting arguments, we get called "Racist"
.

That is just shit talk from assholes who THOUGHT that they had everything nailed down forever.

Oh, no. Somebody on X likes JD and you are amazed.

Here you go, this should ruffle your feathers...

So, now you are admitting that the left were extreme? Baby steps.

“Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn’t even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.” — Heraclitus

Well, to begin with, didn't Trump say he was going to be the one to end wars and that no wars would happen under his watch? So now he is a warrior that will win wars?

As far as your quote about "out of hundred men, eighty are targets. Now that is a true quote.

They are certainly targets for the rich to get richer.

Of the top 10, nine are fighters (yeah, the millionaires that want to become billionaires and the top one being the fighter, that is a resounding yes as he is the one that fights the money war and comes out on top.

Putin and Russia are a perfect example of your quote. Trump is trying but failing, given that Musk is beating him, meaning he is having a tough time being #1

Why did you run away from post #11?
