I'm trying to figure out what's up with these mayors. I can understand them wanting to protect hard working migrants because they are a plus to the city..... But I don't understand is the blanket wall they're putting up as far as not even cooperating on the violent criminals.

No sense, whatsoever. The tax situation, I totally understand, as local county mayors, sheriffs, Mayors even governors here have been voted out of office, due to taxes and the way money is spent, as we are a fairly fiscally responsible about local and state government and spending.
As far as sanctuary cities and costs to tax payers, it is a problem we do not have here, nor will tolerate. Sanctuary city proclamations (such as in Chicago are banned by state law in our state, and we support that ban for good reason, being taxpayers and Americans.

All states should support federal law enforcement, including ICE on policy policing immigration laws and especially criminal law. If they do not, they need to be cut from the Federal purse strings until in compliance and support, for the good of the country.

Yes, people were fed up, and rightly so. But that's exactly what the powers-that-shouldn't-be wanted to happen. Problem - Reaction - Solution. What's their "solution"? Digital ID, biometric tracking system for everyone, surveillance state.... which was the PTSB's agenda in the first place. Trump was (s)elected to bring that "solution."
