Never have spotted Pink Flamingos in the north, but we get every other bird from the deep south in the summer as they fly north to breeding sites used for millennia.
White Pelicans take over the large lakes along the Canadian border in summer. As it gets colder, all our fair weathered feathered friends will head south again.
