Rudy has maintained from the inception that he could back up his allegations, but was never given the opportunity to do so at the trial court. The implication was that the trial court judge had erred (legal talk for "fucked up"), and the judgment would ultimately be overturned on appeal

I'm stunned. And it begs the question how he came up with the funds to satisfy this judgment. Did DJT help him out?

Thoughts?

Well that's a straight up lie. He was laughed outta court repeatedly.

His own words: "We have lots of theories, we just don't have any evidence".

Now the real question: Who did he steal $148 million dollars from?

I Dont know the law but is it possible that he could have considered going bankrupt and wouldnt have to pay anything or very little at that point? So instead he made a counter offer which they accepted? That judgement is ridiculous.and it will destroy your free.speech I dont care who wins in a case. $148M judgement againzt an individual! Not even a corporation would be ruled to pay that much. The courts should have been at least reasonable.

He's the dj at maralardo. It pays well.

Last I saw, a week or so back, he was negotiating a settlement. I believe it would have conceded that he gets to keep his house.

The story linked with n the OP pretty well confirms it.

And notably the settlement says both sides have to refrain from defaming each other.

The settlement hasn't been disclosed, but is wasn't for 148 million, that's for sure.

I am sure it destroyed Rudy financially.

Now both sides have to be quiet. Good.
