Ghost of xmas past, present, and future

Well I went on vacation for a week. Got back a few days ago but just getting out from under my rock. I was on Internet/News silence. Apparently there was a school shooting, we are still going over the fiscal cliff, and John Kerry is Obama's pick for SoS. Other than that no news has penetrated my 'La, La, La' shield. I avoided news of the school shooting almost completely except I went to my mother's Episcopal Church where it was the main topic. That and burning chaff.

So now it is time to peek out from under the comfort of my rock and see what the world has been up to. I included a vacation photo.
