It looks like Republicans are wising up to the traitor Ryan.
William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, or ALIPAC, says he hopes the defeat of a North Carolina congressman will create momentum to sweep Ryan from office, too.
Gheen was one of several conservative activists who worked hard for the defeat of Rep. Rene Ellmers, who lost her redistricted seat to another incumbent Republican, George Holding.
Ryan faces an August 9 primary challenge from businessman Paul Nehlen in Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District. Ryan is running away with that primary race according to polls.
Gheen was not happy that Donald Trump endorsed Ellmers and says the presumptive Republican presidential nominee should endorse Ryan's opponent.
"Because Paul Ryan is jumping all over Trump every single week," says Gheen. "If he wants to endorse someone, he ought to endorse challengers, not these RINO establishment people like Rene Ellmers and Paul Ryan that are going to definitely work against him if he does what he says."
