And this is not new. I used to work in Manhattan. The cars with DPL plates are everywhere. Not only do actual foreign diplomats get them, but their spouses and dependent children as well.
These pricks park wherever they want. Violate traffic laws with impunity.
The only instance where a person with diplomatic immunity can be charged with a crime is if the nation of origin's Embassy allows it.
And it has to be a high crime.
It is my thinking that the only reason the UN is in NYC is because we fund the entire thing.
