It's not like Amazon will solve unemployment in South Africa or even move the needle of it with this HQ. Amazon employees are also abused. Don't see them lasting too long in SA with their practices.

“The fundamental right to culture and heritage of indigenous groups, more particularly the Khoi and San First Nations Peoples are under threat in the absence of proper consultation,” the Western Cape Division of the High Court in Cape Town said.

The Cape, particularly the Western Cape, was selected by Europeans because it was both sparsely inhabited and for its geographic location.

If there are any historical, heritage claims it would be by Europeans.
