There's no doubt the children illegally immigrating were a significant problem to having a secure border. But imo locking up kids just to lock them up is unacceptable on any ground. Personally, I would have sent them back whenever their nationality could be determined, and I'd never grant an child brought here illegally US citizenship ... or a green card to work here legally.

Donald Trump cut all of your supply lines when he tore up all of your trade deals. You have no trade deal with China other than Trump's interim deal, which just takes you back to where he started in 2016, by this year. Nothing was gained, and thousands of family farms lost to big agriculture and foreign ownership. You currently have no trade deal with Great Britain, the European Union, or with the Pan Pacific Partnership, although you have agreements with some PPP members like Korea, Japan, Canada and Mexico.
The rest is a repetition of the lies Donald Trump told you. The border was CLOSED when he was elected. Trump is the guy who reopened it. Look at the numbers when he took office, and then when he declared his emergency. Joe Biden and Barrack Obama are the guys who closed the Southern Border.
