Germany brings back border checks to curb migration, experts question impact

BERLIN, Sept 16 (Reuters) - Germany reintroduced temporary border checks including at its frontiers with France and the Netherlands on Monday as part of efforts to combat irregular migration and cross-border crime.
The coalition government has toughened its stance on migration following a surge in arrivals, in particular people fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East, and a rise in support for the opposition far-right and conservatives.

Well, looks like the start of EU countries waking up to the problems of immigration. Only trouble is, certainly in the UK, they class such acts as racist and anyone taking part is classed as racist.

The likes of New Zealand and Australia have been doing this for decades but not once have they been labelled as racist. The top cats in Brussels will be annoyed and no doubt issue fines.

What a nonsense. The idea is to send immigrants who like to do in Germany an asylum request back to our neighbors where they came from. We will replace them with immigrants of our neighbors who got the right to get asylum in their countries. Reason for this is it to give the European laws more weight and to strengthen the external borders of the EU. The EU has to protect the borders of the EU. And the EU should distribute asylum seekers among the EU countries or turn asylum seekers away at the external borders of the EU.
