Obama is a fool. His lack of executive experience keeps revealing itself. That made-for-TV discussion advanced his bill about as much as videotaping himself eating Apple Jacks with his kids would have.

The votes are barely there in the house, if at all, and other than promises of campaign money or pork, he has shown no ability to win votes on his own, forcing him to be dependent on Pelosi. Even Clinton didn't try to rely on Tom Foley his first two years, he understood how to work Congress on his own. And there's a decent chance Old Nan won't be speaker after 2011.

Obama doesn't have the wisdom or strength of character to move on, and will just keep making himself look like a fool as he continues trying to shove his agenda on a country that doesn't want it.
