Generation Z

Not surprising.

They grew up under the blanket of their parents telling them nothing is their fault, they deserve everything just for showing
The majority of Generation Z voters are progressive Democrats.

Yup, they are products of the indoctrination system known as K-12

Yep, young and stupid!

They are the laziest generation in our history.

All this and the bleakest future since 1866 Alabama

Not surprising.

They grew up under the blanket of their parents telling them nothing is their fault, they deserve everything just for showing, even as kids they were told they were smart and beautiful and unique and special, they had everyone catering to them, were shielded from anything that might hurt their feelings and given safe spaces, protected from bullies, had smart phones out in their hands as kids so they grew up on social media and only stayed in groups of people exactly like them without learning how to deal with others.

Not to mention they grew up with no strife, nothing to galenize them and teach them to be smart and strong. They had the internet so they didn't have to learn anything and can just Google everything, everything is online so they didn't grow up having to actually work much. They grew up and we're trained to be soft.

So of course they will gravitate towards the party that tells them they are special, they deserve 26 dollars an hour for pouring coffee, that they are the future, tells them they shouldn't have to work and be responsible, that if they make an agreement on a loan for school they shouldn't have to pay it back, and repeat social agenda nonsense like they see in their Twitter feeds.
Because we all know the lies perpetuated by Nixon (drug war), Reagan (trickle down economics) and Bush (Iraq war) have advanced our society.

Every administration Republican or Democrat has lied to the American people.

Wait, was there ever a young generation that wasn't progressive? I thought that was the rule.
Yes the ww2 generation Young men and women who stood up for traditional marriage for traditional values , for Christianity. That was when our country had honor now we are a joke and so very ugly because of a minority of far leftists controlling this country Through the media and now through the political atmosphere

We need to get church back in the lives of many Americans that’s also part of the problem. The decline of Christianity in this country has hurt us deeply especially many African-Americans who are surrounded by crack dealers, meth dealers heroin dealers ripping apart their community selling that poison to children.

Get the church back in our lives.....like in Maryland?
America is becoming more secular and it's a trend that will continue. You're a dinosaur wanting America to be returned to your version of 50's America. You're fighting a battle you'll never win.

They tend to gravitate towards attention seeking deviant behavior as their parents tended to ignore them as the whole family had their faces buried in their smartphones!!

Families are not as close knit anymore because of smartphones.

But the greatest Democrat who ever lived Franklin Roosevelt was our president for four terms back in those days the 1930s and 1940s. back in those days the American middle class was stronger than it has ever been many Black people and white people could get jobs at the factory that set them for life. I’m on the right side of history join me.

We have always been a secular country that is Christian majority. Nothings going to change in that regard you see the devil never wins my friend.

Most people in the United States are Christian my friend. What’s your deal man I got nothing wrong with anyone if they are atheist if they’re Jewish if they’re Hindu As long as they’re a good person they’re cool. It seems like you’re making some really poor assumptions about people.

And another thing in the other thread you went off on a tangent. A thread that talked about a 12-year-old boy that I personally knew who was killed in a gangland shooting gone wrong. What’s the deal man.

It is a fact that proud African-American community leaders are doing what they can to get Jesus back in the lives of young black men who are currently leading a horrible life…. selling crack cocaine selling meth selling this poison to their own communities.

Most young folks are but change as they become older and wiser.
I wouldn't count those chickens with these younger voters. 😄

America’s electoral future: The coming generational transformation

First, not all generations start out equally liberal and Democratic leaning in their youth. Notably, Millennials and Generation Z appear to be far more Democratic leaning than their predecessors were at the same age. Even if today’s youngest generations do grow more conservative as they age, it’s not at all clear they would end up as conservative as older generations are today.
Second, it’s clear that younger generations are on a different trajectory than older generations when it comes to some of those conservatizing life events such as home ownership, marriage, and raising children. All of those milestones are, on average, occurring later in life for these cohorts—if they are occurring at all. Hypothetically, this means that the conservatizing effect of aging apparent in some earlier generations may be muted. To date, this is consistent with the data we have. For example, there has not been a significant shift among Millennials, the oldest of whom are now in their late 30s.
Third, America’s youngest generations are more racially and ethnically diverse than older generations. This is important because it would appear that nonwhite Americans are somewhat less affected by cohort effects than white Americans. Thus, the kinds of changes and effects we are accustomed to talking about among generations that are overwhelmingly white may not apply cleanly to more racially and ethnically diverse generations.
