Gen. McKenzie Admits Taliban Offered US Control of Kabul During Withdrawal - But He Didn't Accept

No, asshole, it is not a fact. It is a fact that we would be unable to control Kabul with only 2500 troops, and it was not a formal offer according to the General who had that conversation with the Taliban. American troops would be exposed to terror tactics and suffer more casualties. DUH. The asshole tump, who was in charge, put thousands of people at risk. Tump "knows more than the Generals." Really? The fucking guy didn't even discuss his silly plan with the military. He makes decisions with his "gut"--remember?

The Taliban wouldn't have even been in the city if the deal had been struck you fucking idiot.

Not the entire city. All our people would have been told when and where to go. All we needed to secure was the airport.
All we did do was secure the airport. That’s what you guys are now complaining about. That we didn’t secure the entire city.

There was no deal offered, so there is no "if". You trust the Taliban to live up to their "deals"?
They short-stopped people from going through the airport gates. Get real

The General says otherwise. So, who to believe. The general who was there, or a paid political hack, like you.

The General said that there was no formal offer, just a suggestion that meant nothing. I believe
the General and not another tumpecile like you, who reinvents history. He also said that 2500 troops would not do the job, nor is that logical based upon the Taliban's history.

No, that was his backtrack, said after his initial statements.

To be fair, his boss wouldn’t allow him to. Xiden was scared of the optics

This is a complete failure of leadership
To be fair--If Biden wouldn't allow 2500 troops in Kabul(if that is what you are referring to), It was most likely to avoid putting that limited number in the eye of the tiger and risk more lives. Good leadership. Let's not forget that the Afghan military and government dissipated, rather than defend their country, which created this mess in the first place.
Trump did some good in this situation by having a dialogue with those terrorists, in that they appear to be a little softer to deal with than in the past.

They did not offer any deal, smart guy. It was an off-the-cuff nothing that was not a formal offer.
To simply stay in Kabul with 2500 troops was risking lives without a formal offer and agreement.
We are dealing with terrorists who cut off heads, get it?

haha there were 2500 there that were fine before he pulled them out…resulting in 13 dying

good leadership would be listening to your intel and military advisors…then xiden’s blunder of death wouldn’t of happened

xiden lied people died

Good leadership would never have had them there in the first place.

No Struth--wrong as usual. There were not 2500 troops in Kabul, and the attack took place at the Airport gates. Good leadership is listening and then making a decision. Bad leadership is not consulting advisors and acting with your "gut" as did tump.

hahaa they were safe when trump was there

there were 2500 in afghan…the military advised against the withdraw, told him what would happen…xiden ignored it

and blood flowed and will continue to flow because of it

xiden wanted a political stunt on the 9/11 20th anny…he put politics before country and lives…that’s not what leaders do, that’s what tyrants do

They were safe? The Afghan military and government were in place, and we had troops there. What you talkin' about, boy?
