There's already a memorial at the Pulse nightclub. Posters of the victims, tributes, flags, the whole nine gay yards.

Not sure why a crosswalk on public land needs to be part of that.

As to the victims of that shooting... well... an on-site plaque and some kind of bronze-plate in City Hall should suffice.
