Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass gave a press conference today stating, "Enough of the finger pointing" said Gavin. "This is not a time for finger pointing. In a time of crisis, we all need to come together to fight this crisis. We are not Republicans and Democrats, we are Americans!"

"I concur", said Mayor Karen Bass. "I can't tell you the number of times people have angerly approached me about losing their home and their city. To be fair, we did tell people to evacuate. Look at me, I obeyed my own order as I ran to Africa for the week".

"Let me just reiterate", said Gavin, "Enough! This is no time for finger pointing. It's not like the time when Trump was President with the Covid outbreak. Now there was a time to finger point during a time of national crisis. That was when we were either Americans or Nazi MAGA scum. That was the time to destroy the President and blame him for every single solitary Covid death. Why? Cuz it was all his fault, that's why. That was not the time to come together as a nation, but this is. Why is that so hard to understand? That is why the state California legislature is having an emergency meeting today on how to combat Hitler coming back into power. We can adress the fire thingy maybe afterwards."

Newsom and Bass failed to preserve water, clean up fire fuels and adequately fund their firefighters. Why do they think no one should point a finger at them? Hell, Bass was not even in the country! When fire hydrants don't even have water there is a huge problem with the ruling class.

Southern California was under red flag warnings when Bass left for Africa where she was when the first fires broke out. This after it has been reported that she campaigned on not traveling abroad if she was elected Mayor but they could count on her being there to take care of things.

She apparently didn't choose to return to LA to take care of things until she completed her little vacation. And now she says she obeyed her own order to evacuate and she evacuated to Africa?

Surely that isn't what she said. But who knows?
