Still almost twice as expensive as it was under Trump.
And it still affects shipping costs which of course hurts at the grocery store.

Short lived. The price of gas is still double when Biden took office and inflation isn't coming down. Funny thing is, the gas price was supposed to have been caused by Putin's war. The war is still going on. So, is Putin the reason for any decreases in price? Part of the gas price increase is seasonal as it is every year. So, is the decrease seasonal as we get closer to Labor Day. That isn't a President thing. So, there may be a still small drop going to happen. But, mostly it will be stable until OPEC raises prices again. Why will that affect the U.S.? Because Biden reversed all of Trump's energy programs and we've had nothing but chaos since.

It's $5.17 a gallon where I'm at. Before Biden made a mess of things by trashing the Trump agenda with his pen, it was about $2/gallon. Meat and other foods were priced way lower as well. They will be going up again soon. Yet, Biden refuses to admit his energy program is failing. But, the people don't believe him. Not even most Democrats want him to run again.

He could have not blotted out all of Trumps executive orders to start with. He could have continued with Trump's energy policies, all of them. We were energy and oil independent before Biden. Russia didn't have many places to sell their oil to. But, Biden stopped that problem of Putins by allowing the pipelines to pour into Germany and other countries. To the extent Biden has been begging our enemies to pump more oil and sell to us. We had all the Diesel we needed! Trucking was doing just fine. But, with Biden's pen, he executive ordered us into poverty and out of producing our 100% own energy.

You do know there is a World Wide shortage and to stop it would mean taking the Sanctions off of Russia, so you want Biden to reverse his stance against Russia and lift the Sanctions.

We also have treaties with other countries to export so much diesel and we are the number one supplier of diesel, so let me ask again what should Biden do to fix that issue?

Diesel is and always has been cheaper to produce than gasoline. It is a by product of the gasoline refining process. We also have bio diesel that most newer vehicles can run. The price of diesel has been artificially high for 40 years. Prior to that it was always cheaper than gasoline.
