No one claimed that.

Biden has enacted policies that had the intent and undeniable effect of reducing the supply, and thus raising the cost of gasoline.

This doesn't mean in the least that he gets to take credit for other conditions in which he had no part, which help to move prices downward.

However much prices have gone down, they are still higher than they would be if not for Biden's policies.

Bullshit. Two weeks ago, gasoline in my town was $3.99. Now it's $3.89. It came down one fuckin' dime per gallon, which is nowhere near the Trump era $2.10 I was paying immediately after Trump was elected.

This ten cent drop in the price is nothing more than the market forces of supply and demand sending a message to Joe Biden saying "Look - we're not such bad people after all, are we?" If Trump had been elected, gasoline prices here in the US would be down around $1.50 by now. This is just about as bad as the Biden administration crowing about saving us 16 cents on last Fourth of July's hot dogs. Let's face it: You Democrats voted for an asshole and an administration that's is doing everything they can to drive the prices up, then tell the low and middle class to "go buy an $80,000 EV." That shit ain't gonna play in mainstream America, no fuckin' way. no fuckin' how. Take you're ten cents per gallon "savings" and shove it up your ass.
