Residents are concerned after a Southern California man said his two gardeners were reportedly taken by federal immigration agents as they were working outside his Ontario home. KTLA's Sandra Mitchell reports on June 19, 2025.

We neighborhood kids used to do do those type of jobs......Arrest the homeowner for employing illegals.

Did you notice, even with the mower sitting there running, nobody even bothered to finish cutting the grass.

I'm glad I have an American who takes care of my lawn and garden and does my snow removal and other jobs around the house. Small town where everyone knows and respects him.

Highly doubtful that ICE was just randomly cruising this neighborhood. One or both of these guys had a record.

Why not send welfare recipients to tend his garden?

They learn a skill, he gets his tulips polished or whatever his gardners were doing, and the taxpayers savemoney.

The guy I hire gets paid well -- American man, who grew up in this town, who is retired and well known and respected here.

The one time I had someone apply for some yard work, but I thought he might be illegal, he gave me a hideously inflated estimate for the materials he'd need to do the job. He also got aggressive when I told him I decided to hire someone else, and demanded to speak to my husband. I almost needed to call the law.
