Number one, guns aren't banned in the UK. An estimated 4% of people own guns. But you knew that and yet you come on here time and time and time again and peddle this shit.

So, there's a surge, from 350 shootings in 12 months from 310 shootings in 12 months. This isn't murders, it's shooting. But let's compare shootings in London, population 8 million, with murders in the US by state.

Alabama. Population 4 million, half the size of London. Murder rate, 348 in 2015. Okay, so London's shooting number is about the same as Alabama's murder rate. Taking that about 3/4ths of murders in the US are with guns, that makes it at about 261 gun murders for a population HALF that of London. So, if it were the same size it would be 522 gun murders in Alabama to 350 shootings in London.

Texas, 27 million people, 1,316 murders. So, 987 gun murders. Texas is 3.375 times larger than London in terms of population. So, divide that 292 gun murders in Texas to 350 shootings in London. Yeah, Texas has a slightly LOWER rate of gun murders than London has a shootings. But then we're comparing shootings with murders. Big difference.

A little bit of understanding might make you look a little less foolish.

Gun crime is up 42% in London....they banned handguns and make it impossible for normal people to own limited shotguns ....and yet the criminals don't have a problem....dumb shit.....

Criminals in London are far less likely to use the guns they own than criminals in the US are. Why? They fear losing those guns. In the US there's a ready supply of guns. Revealed: Huge rise in knife attacks, killings and robberies in London

Huge rises in knife crime, killings and robbery in London were revealed today as official figures showed a surge in violent offending nationwide.

The Office for National Statistics said knife offences rose by 23 per cent in the capital during the 12-month period to the end of September last year.

The point that sailed right over your head was that the UK gun laws did not reduce their murder rates in fact their murder rates actually went up after the gun laws and gun bans.

There are far more variables that account for the differences in the UK and the US murder rates than just guns and gun laws.
