We already have background checks, I have to run a background check on everyone that purchases a firearm in my store. Redundancy will solve nothing.
If anything we need to speed up the process of firearm purchases. Right now in my store on average it takes a person five minutes - six minutes give or take to walk out of the store with a firearm it should only take a seconds.

Yes, universal background checks would reduce gun deaths, just like background checks for new guns do. No one method will completely stop them, but that is a stupid reason to do nothing.

You do realize that the vast majority of violent crime is in progressive controlled urban areas? With extremely strict gun control laws… You can’t compare us to Europe whatsoever it’s like comparing apples to oranges in no way do we want to be the least bit like those fuckers over there.

The fact is our murder rate is due for the most part because criminals shoot other criminals. Our murder rate is skewed by just a handful of shithole ultraviolent urban areas in fact 2% of all the counties in the country account over half of all murders.

So we do not have some sort of countrywide murder epidemic.

Individual sellers are not where criminals buy their guns...why? Because they tell those who study the issue they are afraid of under cover police officers....they steal their guns and sell those to criminals they know, or they use friends and family to buy the guns...because they can pass background checks.....
