Could some legal eagle on here explain why a gag order is not un-constitutional.

Does a gag order have a presumption of constitutional validity?

However, a court will scrutinize any gag order under the right of free expression, protected by the First Amendment, and applies a heavy presumption against its constitutional validity, as with any prior restraint. See Carroll v. Princess Anne. In Nebraska Press Ass’n v.

Place a gad order on a former president and current leading presidential candidate over a civil suit with no plaintiff?...... good luck with that... that's worth another 4 points up for Trump...

A gag order needs to strike a balance between the first and the sixth amendment. If speech hinders the right to a fair trail it can be curtailed. This is oversimplified of course.
