The G chord sounds melodic on any fret with the same finger position. Is this done on purpose? Does this mean that you can change the key without barre?

I have no idea.Yeah I have no idea either. Does he mean capo?
Well, you can say this, if you move the capo, you change the key, the same chord can be played higher or lower depending on the position of the capo, they sound melodic everywhere.Yeah I have no idea either. Does he mean capo?
I have no idea.
I do know G-B-D like a reflex for whatever reason.
GBD is a G chord.GBD? Not GCD? You talking chords or picking? The B kinda threw me off.
I'm only a barely serviceable guitar player and mostly play cheater G. I am the queen of all the cheater chords actually...heh.
Muting open strings defeats the purpose!try it(You just need to mute the open strings)
GBD is a G chord.
A C# E is an A chord.
What is "cheater G"?
So one finger 3rd fret on the e-string, and only the top 3 strings?

What kind of OP is this, even?!
I'm pretty ignorant, never used a capo or slide ever in my life.
I'd have to buy some guitar strings to do that. It's not happening right now.try it(You just need to mute the open strings)
