FOX BUSINESS NETWORK’S JOHN STOSSEL TO HOST LIBERTARIAN TOWN HALL ON AUGUST 26TH – Fox Business Network Press

Stossel will open up for questions from the audience AND people on the street. THAT ought to be interesting.

Also Stossel will push both candidates on answers that don't "sound Libertarian".. Which makes this hour of fun more interesting to me. He will NOT let them skate on proposing ideas and solutions that they inherited from Progressive left concepts.

Should be the best of our "air-time" so far..

If you have problems with getting FBN --- pretty sure it'll be pkg'd and posted later on..

Johnson needs to get his A game going.

Hillary has a laundry list of known Oct. surprises and an even longer list of probable surprises such as:

CA taxes going up due to an early fire season and probably the worst in decades by election time.

IL defaults in detail.

A larger than expected partial collapse of the ACA.

Trump's partial return to changing feet .every time he opens his mouth with his flip-flop today.

This could end up being a major malfunction.

Odd that they relegated it to the Bidness Channel, innit.

Whatever it takes to preserve the Duopoly....

That channel has more talent than any other cable news network. Love them all. Especially Charles Paine and Cavuto (who's been out because of his MS), Trish Regan, Kennedy, Stuart Varney and Stossel. Watch it every morning and evening.

And Stossel is the "libertarian friendly" dude in media. So it makes sense. I don't expect it's gonna be fluff and soft ball tho..

I wish the LP had nominated an actual "Libertarian" ......

Me too. How about John McAfee --- our 3rd choice? The guy with the ex-escort wife who ended up in Guatemala and doesn't remember much of anytime he spent there? He's got more money than Trump probably. Unless the Guatemalan govt took it all for that "suspected murder" of his neighbor.

Nothing at the LParty is ever gonna get "hacked" with HIM around. Mr. Anti-Virus himself.

I don't have a TV any more (although I think it may be on my satellite radio) but my point is relegating a 3P town hall to a minor spinoff network--- rather than its main channel. Trying to bury it while still claiming to have given it coverage. Wimps.

Won't be the last TV exposure this cycle. This will make the 5th full hour since the convention !!

I'm holding out hope for a podium with ClinTrump. By all rights -- we should be there.
If you qualify for ballot in 50 states -- you should be in the US Presidential Debate.

Thanks for getting the word out here at least. Now let's get the NYT and WaPo etc to splash it.

Here's an idea --- if the Duopoly Debates ever happen, have the moderators work in questions with "the Johnson/Weld ticket has taken the position that ________ , where do you stand on that?

Just so that the unwashed will get the message that there's somebody missing....

OK truth to tell I have a TV, as in the technology. That's easy. What I don't have is the feed for it. For the most part it's a waste of time.

I usually find when these live events are going on I can find a feed from the internets though. If not a stream from the broadcaster itself, somebody usually has a live YouTube hacked in.

Ya know. If your TV has an HDMI connector on it --- you can stream Internet content to it. Can also do it at lower resolution with a USB connection and the right S/W.

I just realized that Stossel's show is rerun (I'm pretty sure) Thurs nights on Fox News itself. So maybe it will get a pretty big audience.

Indeed I already do that with my baseball games -- not a TV per se but an LCD monitor.

For this purpose the laptop screen is fine. Not much to see in the way of action.
