After a markedly high turnout, the NFP – a cluster of five parties ranging from the far-left France Unbowed party to the more moderate Socialists and the Ecologists – was projected to win between 172 and 192 seats in the National Assembly, making it the largest party, but falling short of the 289 seats required to form an absolute majority.

President Emmanuel Macron’s centrist Ensemble alliance, which had slumped to a dismal third in the first round of voting last Sunday, has since recovered strongly and is projected to win between 150 and 170 seats. Despite leading after the first round of votes, the far-right National Rally (RN) was projected to win between 132 and 152 seats.

The RN’s strong showing in the first round stirred fears that France could be on the cusp of electing its first far-right government since the collaborationist Vichy regime of World War II. But Sunday’s projection comes as a huge upset and shows French voters’ overwhelming desire to keep the far right from gaining power.

The fascist party is now regulated to just bragging about winning some seats...a week ago they said they were going to take control.

The wish to avoid a group unprepared for leadership has resulted in a representative chamber that will doubtless be blocked by the political aspirations of Melanchon.

This is a trend. The left crushed the right in the UK a week ago. The left crushed the right in France today. We will do the same in the US in November.

France "crushed" the right. Somewhat "left" is normal in France and that part aligned with center-left, center and center-right.to prevent a majority in Parliament that did not represent the République. The problem now is that legislation will be paralyzed due to Melanchon's antics.

France voted for it. Where is the problem.?

One of the most famous museums in Marseille, the Museum of Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean (Mucem), announced the closure of part of the exhibition due to a problem with bedbugs. This is reported by the French television channel BFMTV.
Museum staff first noticed bedbugs last Sunday and immediately asked the administration to close the museum to the public. However, the sanitary inspection did not take place until Thursday. According to reports, many staff members suffered bites.
At least four halls and a number of offices were infected.

The museum's website says that some exhibitions are temporarily closed for sanitary reasons, but does not explicitly state that this is due to bedbugs.

"Dear visitors, we inform you that some of our exhibition rooms are temporarily unavailable due to sanitary reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience and are making every effort to reopen them as soon as possible. In the meantime, we invite you to visit other exhibitions and events at the museum and Fort Saint-Jean free of charge," reads the main page of the museum's website.

Last year, France saw an active spread of bed bugs, which were found not only in homes but also in hospitals, cinemas, libraries and public transportation.
According to the National Agency for Food Safety, Environment and Occupational Health (Anses), one in ten households in France has experienced a bed bug problem in the last few years.
From 2017 to 2022, the French spent about 230 million euros annually to fight these parasites.

The Paris Olympics are getting closer and closer....

Well we need to vote for it, i am glad the Tory criminals are gone but the Labour party under Starmer will not get the job done that is needed, he has already brought the war criminal Blair and his sidekick Mandelson back into the mix as advisors Lol! he is Blair MK2, the new defence secretary has already been to Odesa to tell the fascist Zelensky one of our priorities is to continue supporting the war, i would have thought saving the NHS would be the priority not fueling a war against Russia, it was in Odesa the Ukrainian fascists shot beat and burned alive at the trade union house many people who didn't support the coup, i doubt he visited that place, in the UK we need a leftwing alliance like they have in France to make sure the far right and populists like Farage are kept in their cage.

Voters in all the Western democracies need to keep conservative fascists from power.

It was not Melanchon they voted for, and whom in fact they fear. His thinking is not better than Le Pen's. Just as Trump and Biden are off-setting penalties that otherwise should be avoided.

Well, France has voted to guarantee becoming an Islamic Caliphate in the not too distant future.
As to how your average French citizen will be affected once Islam takes over:
1. Women will become third-class citizens and rapes will become even more common. They won't be allowed outside their homes without a husband or male relative to accompany them.
2. The persecution of all non-Muslims is assured. Cathedrals and churches will fall into two general categories: Bombed or converted to Mosques. The gunning down of Christian and Jewish worshippers will become commonplace.
Welcome to Islam, fools.
