I wouldn't know where to begin. I've learned through the years that so much of what we were taught turned out to be a big fat lie. From a Christian perspective, that makes perfect sense because the Bible is clear that this is a fallen world, filled with deception and lies, and so many things are upside-down.

I used to hold a different position on numerous things. And it is amazing to me how so many everyday things that we consider normal are not actually true or how things are supposed to be.

This will be a controversial one, but for example, eating animals. Eating animals was NOT God's original design or intent for mankind. Genesis 1 and 2 are clear that in the beginning, in the pre-fall world, both humans and animals were herbivores and before the fall of man there was peace and harmony among all creation, which was God's ideal and intent.

But of course now most people don't think twice about eating animals, to the point where we enslave, exploit and terrorize them, on a massive scale, and even many Christians are sort of blind to just how diabolical that is (I'm talking about factory farms, but also the animal industries in general.)

Ok, I better stop here and put on my flame suit because I know this is a topic that pisses a lot of people off and makes people feel defensive.

Actually the biggest frauds have typically been religious. I believe you to be a Christian so assuming that religion is NOT a fraud, every other religion must be.

Leftism is by far the most successful religion in modern times. It has murdered and oppressed far more people last century than any other ideology in human history, yet it is still wildly popular today.

Authoritarian regimes have been killing people for millennia, they are hardy a recent invention. Monarchies are good examples.

But socialist governments do murder on an industrial scale.

I'm not going to get into a debate on this. You seemed to have completely missed the point. I was specifically talking about how God originally designed the world, his ideal, his intent for mankind.

Yes, there are some laws but mostly just for pets, farm animals are literally treated like objects, and the abuse, inhumane practices and cruelty goes on daily, on an inconceivably massive scale. No, it is absolutely false that "all animals are humanely dispatched." I don't know what planet you're living on, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

But again, I didn't post this to get into a debate, my point was on how things are SUPPOSED to be, which we can know as Christians from looking at the pre-fall world, or the new earth and heaven.

And you will get no argument from me on abortion, I agree with you on that completely, that too is diabolical.

Take this OP and move it to the "Religion and Philosophy" section.
That said:
1. Atheism: Has never said that "everything came from nothing." What Atheists do say is that "we are the stuff of stars." All the ingredients for life has been found in researching moons, comets, et cetera.
2. Islam: It's evil.
3. Darwinism: Evolution is no longer, by scientists, to be considered only theory. It is now, both fact and theory. Fact in that evolution is proven. Theory in that how the mechanism works isn't completely understood.
4. Marxism & Democrat Party: No argument.
5. Scientists are now in agreement that mankind is in part responsible for global climate changes. The degree as to how much, differs with the scientists. No scientists say we are not responsible at all. Only politicians claim that.
6. The disease is real, but, businesses cannot be shut down forever. The economy would completely collapse, much to the enjoyment of the Marxist/Democrat Party. Wear masks and wash hands frequently, but open businesses. Once a vaccine is made and people are vaccinated, get rid of the masks until the next overblown panic.
