I agree that trump just needs to stop. The idea is silly from the outset, and if greenland and whoever controls greenland doesn't want us to absorb them, then let it be. But we are NOT going to invade greenland. As we continue to isolate ourselves from our (former) allies and the world in general, as we continue to issue threats to our (former) allies, I guess this shouldn't be a surprise.
The world is worried about what is happening to us, but it's not going to wait around to find out. Fortunately, Denmark has declined the protection, so far.

France "Vows" To Defend Greenland; Offers To Deploy Soldiers To The Arctic Region Amid U.S. Threats
Amid repeated calls by US President Donald Trump to take control of Greenland, an autonomous territory under Denmark, France said it had discussed the possibility of deploying troops to the Arctic territory. Ahead of his inauguration as President, Trump said in a speech that the US needs...www.eurasiantimes.com
Nearly all European countries have unanimously condemned Trump’s threats. For instance, reacting sharply to Trump’s remarks earlier this month, France said the US President should not attempt to threaten the European Union’s borders.
With Trump threatening annexation of Greenland, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot has now revealed in an interview with France’s Sud Radio that his country discussed with Denmark the possibility of sending troops to Greenland. However, Barrot clarified that while France had started the talks for the deployment of troops, Denmark was not on board with the idea.
“We are a strong continent; we must become stronger,” Barrot said. He also promised that Europe would stand in defense of international law. “There is no question of the EU letting other nations in the world, whoever they may be, attack its sovereign borders,” he emphasized while responding to Trump’s comments.
Well, the Democrats didn't have a POTUS with his own 'words' for the past 4 years so........Trump and his flock have zero understanding of how the words of an American President -- even this one -- influence the world. No clue. Theirflat Earthworld is far too small and shallow.
Like the weak kids on the playground, the flock hides behind the bully and tells him how strong he is.

Both countries put together still are not the size of Texas.
Here is a rational reply from Europe. As we continue to isolate ourselves from our (former) allies and the world in general, as we continue to issue threats to our (former) allies, I guess this shouldn't be a surprise.

You need to stop.I agree that trump just needs to stop.
That is all Trump ever seriously proposed, to strike a deal, a partnership, something, anything from mining and military rights to outright statehood, and the people of Greenland are interested. If Europe has a problem with that, then this proves they are not really our friends.if greenland is that important, what needs to happen is that the US strikes a sweet deal with them
Trump will get a 'sweet deal' because of his threats to take over Greenland. I believe the U.S. already has a base there (Thule air base) now Pituffik Space Base. I believe Trump wants a larger base.I agree that trump just needs to stop. The idea is silly from the outset, and if greenland and whoever controls greenland doesn't want us to absorb them, then let it be. But we are NOT going to invade greenland.
if greenland is that important, what needs to happen is that the US strikes a sweet deal with them to build a large base there as well as some ports or whatever.
Colonizers gonna colonize. And colonizer butt boys like Mac1958 are going to bend the knee to them.

Beware of the media. It makes shit sandwiches that it claims are sweet potatoes.Trump will get a 'sweet deal' because of his threats to take over Greenland. I believe the U.S. already has a base there (Thule air base) now Pituffik Space Base. I believe Trump wants a larger base.

How will there be French women in Greenland? Just asking for a friend in the Army.On the positive side, the prettier French women will sleep with our soldiers in exchange for Hershey bars and stockings.
You can't tell the Macadoddle ANYTHING. All he will take from this is that we and the country are all brainwashed by the Trump Cult and are blind to the dangers of Trump that only he and his elite extra-special friends are tuned into enough to understand. If only he could just get through to us drooling bovines.![]()
He desperately wants people to think he's smart, then he goes and votes for Kamala Harris. LOL
Trump put his finger on Greenland because he wants to expand our military there. Trump's negotiations always start with seemingly outlandish demands which which he expects to lose in favor of his real demands.Beware of the media. It makes shit sandwiches that it claims are sweet potatoes.
Trump has not threatened anybody. Trump spoke of his desire. And said he wants Greenland protected.

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump made another pitch for the United States buying Greenland, saying “it’s for protection of the free world.”
The president also reiterated his belief that Canada would be better off if it became the 51st state.
But but but I thought -- what MAGA is saying on these boards...As we continue to isolate ourselves from our (former) allies and the world in general, as we continue to issue threats to our (former) allies, I guess this shouldn't be a surprise.

As long as it's not a major incursion, eh?
