Subways are out of control and crime is quickly going back to the bad old days of pre Rudy Giuliani. Seems there is an illegal alien problem. NYC says a Byrna self protection device is "illegal" in their city.

I say that since the politicians have failed, you should carry one, just in case, and not be afraid to use it. Only FORCE is going to get through to the protected criminal element.

I will not travel to a big blue city, without one.

Then some idiots on the Supreme Court ruled you can't lock a mentally ill person up unless he is an immediate danger. if you give him his meds, and he calms down, he's no longer an immediate danger and you release him. then he stops taking his meds and becomes a danger again.

The states stopped funding hospitals in favor of "halfway houses".

But since we aren't going to invest the resources to get people like Sebastian Zapeta-Calil or Jordan Neely off the streets and into care, we are going to have to learn to live with them.

I'm not blaming anyone in particular since there is plenty of blame to go around. Only thing I care about is my right to self protection, since the politicians obviously do not care.
