And you are right..

The earthquake in Magna Utah is on the south west Tri-radiate extending to California and the Long Valley super volcano there. The north west leg attaches to the Oregon/Washington area volcano systems. The north east leg extends towards the Madrid Fault system.

The geologic record shows it has exploded at least twice before and if I recall correctly, I think it blows something like everything 600,000 years. Technically, it's actually overdue.

Now if the Cascadia fault slips in the NW, people might have something to really worry about (as if that won't be bad enough as it is).
