Other than pretending it is not actually happening it seems that is the case.
Sad that they have to pretend that no one in powerful positions is calling for something like this.

Everyone knows that as soon as they won't have their asses handed to them in the following election, the Dems will ban 'assault weapons'.
None of them, of course, can soundly address the OP.
