For all those who claim Hegseth isn't qualified, meet Leon Panetta.

He did and he is qualified compared to the defect Clinton appointed and to Austin who botched the Afghanistan withdrawal.
Speaking of which the "pass-overs" are starting.

One of the most Donald Trump-aligned GOP senators blocked the promotion of a top U.S. general over the Biden administration’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, according to a new report.

Lt. Gen. Christopher Donahue, the last U.S. soldier to withdraw from Afghanistan, was set to become the head of the U.S. Army in Europe as part of almost 1,000 promotions that moved through the Senate last week. But Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) held his name up in order to allow President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming administration to weigh in, according to CBS News.

You list his qualifications. You have to prove it. It is your appointee.
1. He's a teevee personality, like Oz. High priority.
2. He has sworn to do as he is told, when he is told, how he is told. High priority.
3. He has good hair. Medium priority.
4. He has sworn to do as he is told, when he is told, how he is told. High priority.

What else is needed in this administration?

:dunno:

So you can't back up your bullshit. Ok.

Here is the statute and requirements, which he meets:

10 U.S. Code § 113 - Secretary of Defense

(1)
There is a Secretary of Defense, who is the head of the Department of Defense, appointed from civilian life by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate.

List the qualifications he doesn't meet.
Did he ever run a government agency? Panetta did. More than one. Was he ever a Chief of Staff to an executive, at the state or federal level. Panetta was. Was he ever elected to any leadership position, I mean I will accept senior patrol leader in the Boy Scouts, Panetta was. Served in Congress, for eight terms. Head of the OMB, CIA director, White House Chief of Staff. Please, you are only demonstrating your ignorance.

Bill Clinton appointed him Sec of Defense.

I'm amazed you can even think to compare Hegseth to Panetta! Panetta was a congressman, headed OMB, was a Presidential Chief of Staff, and was Director of the CIA. Hegseth never held a government position outside the military. Hegseth may make a great SecDef but he has a lot to learn first.

Any of those listed in the qualifications needed? Anything regarding the military outside his 2 years serving?

He still is not qualified. He will be the Trump equivalent of a Trump DEI appointment
~~~~~~
So are you claiming that Robert McNamara, Harold Brown and Leon Panetta had the experience and wear with all to hold to office of Secretary of Defense.
Then there's Lloyd Austin who supposedly has the experience and has been shown to have no knowledge of his job nor the intelligence to fill the role.
