People like you whined that Palin lacked the qualifications to be VP just IN CASE McCain kicked the bucket in office. So you decided to elect a man who had even fewer qualifications -and make him PRESIDENT -even though he is THE most unqualified person to run for President in a century? Palin isn't even close to being the most unqualified candidate for either VP or President. Obama holds that "honor" and likely will for the next 100 years -about how long it seems to take before people forget the lessons of history about what a huge mistake it is to put someone in THIS particular office above all others -who is so blatantly ill-prepared and unqualified for it. ROFL
I expect a much heavier and more impressive resume from my President than you do. Certainly more than a gift for gab, being able to eloquently read a speech off a telemprompter, one fairly insignificant part-time job that had no relevance to the Presidency by any stretch of the imagination and another part-time job he held only for 18 months but had no real responsibilities or power and hadn't even held it long enough to show he could even handle THAT well! Don't be shocked when the consequences for putting someone in this office with such a glaring lack of relevant qualifications are disastrous, ok? Because I won't be.
The least likely successful campaign and hardest way to win an election is by challenging an incumbent of your own party. Palin did that TWICE for two different offices -both successfully. That fact is what has Democrats' panties in a twist about the woman -they know she is likely to end up being a serious and dangerous contender in the future. What she lacks is far easier to acquire than what Obama lacks. She has the skills in abundance. It has never taken her YEARS or anything close to it to acquire the necessary familiarity with the issues to get elected in the past and it won't in the future -and Democrats know it.
I'll choose someone who lacks the readily learned and acquired information, has repeatedly proven they are more than capable of acquiring that information but already possesses the critically necessary executive skills required to just do the job at all -over someone who lacks those critically necessary skills to even do the job and ALSO lacks any hands-on experience dealing with the same domestic issues that all governors have. Must be why all the best companies don't go looking for the guy who has no proven executive skills and lacks any hands-on experience combined and put the future of their company in his hands, right? Only people like you think putting the future of the entire company in the hands of the guy in the mailroom would be a winning strategy. Yet you continue to PRETEND this governor wasn't qualified to be even a VP when more than half of all our PRESIDENTS held no other political office BUT governor?
It is a FACT that most people are NOT capable of developing the critically necessary executive and leadership skills Obama lacks along with his lack of even any direct, hands-on experience with domestic issues. It is why real leaders are few, outstanding leaders rare - and hordes of followers the norm in every society in history.
If Obama had applied for a job with the NSA, FBI or CIA -his own background and known associates means he would never receive the necessary security clearance to get hired! But THAT is the guy, the same one with no executive experience, no firsthand experience dealing with even domestic issues, someone with zero proof he even has the basic, critically necessary executive and leadership skills to even handle an executive position of ANY kind -you wanted to hold THE single most demanding executive job in the world?
And then insist that is a sign of your "superior" intelligence? While insisting that the people who refused to vote for this ill-prepared, completely unqualified man and instead went with the singlemost qualified person running for President -are actually the stupid ones here? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Why would I want to give Obama the benefit of the doubt when everything about him generates doubt:
He has no executive experience of any kind
He has associated with radicals his whole life
He has no loyalty to those he has previously called friends and mentors
There are legitimate questions as to whether he actually wrote his two autobiography's as he claims
There are serious doubts as to his meeting the constitutional requirements to be POTUS
He attended and exposed his children to a church full of cheering racists and America haters
He is now appointing the same people who brought us the tech bubble bust, the Enron, Tyco, Worldcom, Global Crossing, etc. fiascoes and recession
He was willing to surrender Iraq to al Qaeda and certain civil war
He says one thing to one group of people and another thing to another group of people
He was the most liberal senator in a group of extreme liberals
He defended infanticide and then denied doing so
He is not upfront about what he plans to do with NAFTA, telling unions one thing, and Canadian officials another
He wants to bring foreign terrorists to America to be tried with constitutional guarantees
His "new tone" equals mocking a former first lady for something she never did in his very first press conference as president elect
He claimed the constitution is defective
He wants to institute censorship of conservatives through a program called localization
He wants to rescind union secret ballot voting and allow unions to intimidate those who do not support them
He is willing to talk with totalitarian leaders without requirements, giving them equal standing to allies
He wants to reduce military spending when it needs to be increased
He will not support energy independence
He believes in instituting a carbon cap and trade system and raising taxes that will hamper any likelihood of an economic recovery
He wants to institute a universal health care program that has proven to be a disaster wherever it has been tried
He has a number of issues where blackmail may be a problem
Also he won't allow access or inquiry about:
His registration to attend school in Indonesia
His trip to Pakistan when entry with an American passport was not allowed
His student grades
His student writings
His attendance at socialist conferences
His accomplishments as a "community organizer"
His legal cases
His legislative records
His small donors list
His medical records
His Annenberg Challenge records without them being sanitized first
His connection to Raila Odinga, the Kenyan election and the hundreds of murders by Odinga's supporters
His past associations
His attendance of supposedly an innocent dinner party
