I don't know if Trump forgot how he got into office but he should remember one key element of his victory had a lot to do with grocery prices.

I haven't heard much from the administration lately on ways to fix that.... I'm surprised that the Democrats haven't picked up this issue. Instead they're worried about people with green hair and people who can't figure out what sex organ they have between their legs.

This is low hanging fruit Democrats! Is it beneath you to squawk about it or are you much more concerned with having margaritas in the company of human traffickers?

My grocery bill is the same for the last 6 months. Actually I am seeing better sale items than I have in a while but that could be summer prices for produce. Not nearly as bad as it was a couple years ago when prices were soaring. It might be because fuel costs are lower but I’m not sure.

I’m finding that grocery stores haven’t lowered prices but are having more sales. That means the suppliers are needing to move product, which is helping a lot. I saw eggs on sale last week and that has been unheard of for a few months.

I think they're afraid to make it an issue because every time they DO make an issue of something...Trump's policies suddenly kick in and the numbers look great! I think we'll see a substantial drop in prices when peace deals are worked out both in the Middle East and in Ukraine because stability there means lower oil costs and that lowers the price of everything across the board. A little patience...it's coming.

They seem to be going lower here. Not as many sticker shock moments at the register. Gas is down as well. Be patient. The tariffs need to work themselves out but overall, I think everything is moving in the right direction.

That was one of the dumber talking points from the left. Grocery stores work on about a 3% profit margin. How that's "gouging" was always rather amusing. Now you've got the moron running for Mayor of New York that says he's going to open up Government run grocery stores that are non profit to lower costs! Has anyone here ever visited a Government run grocery store? I've been to some of those in Cuba. You don't go in with a shopping list because they never have what you need. You go in and you buy whatever it is that they HAVE that month! You wanted onions? They have tomatoes. Guess what? You're buying tomatoes!

Recently I found a bunch of stuff I usually buy nearly 1/2 off on sale? Like a fouth of July deal? It was sort of shocking. Not near experation or anything wrong with it or discontinued?

Yes it has slowed.... But it is already too high and growing. But you're right of course....it Has slowed way down. Maybe that's why they're quiet?

Yep, Obiden doubled fuel. Everything arrives by truck. Everything doubled due to shipping costs, flu launch, stolen election creates instability.
